Shopback has upsized the cashback amount for Wotif. The cashback rates are as follows
- Hotels: 14%
- Car Hire: 13%
- Activities: 9.5%
- Packages: 5%
- Flights: 0.5%
Note: For Shopback plus, add an extra 1.0% on top of the rates above
I have been tracking hotel booking + cashbacks for a while and 14% is on the higher end of cashbacks available.
Tips for Hotels
Before booking hotels, I think it's best to check the hotel price using the following methods and find the cheapest one:
1. Check the price of the hotel using wotif.com without Shopback
2. Check the price of the hotel using Google, by specifying the exact hotel and dates
3. Check the price of the hotel using wotif.com with Shopback and calculate the price with the cashback. Keep in mind that the cashback amount may not apply to the tax portion of the price
Also, use the free cancellation option and cancel/rebook later when a cheaper price comes up.

Exclusions
You won't get Cashback on:
Cruises, motorhomes or tours
Any Gift Card, Voucher or store credit purchase
Any Gift Card or Voucher redemption
Purchases made with Vouchers or Promo codes not featured on our platform
Fees · Service charges · Booking fees · Credit card charges
Any exceptions will be at the store's discretion.
Refunds, cancellations and no-shows
No-shows and any booking changes that lead to a change in the booking ID will not be eligible for Cashback.
We can only track your Cashback if you show up for your booking.
Tracking disclaimers
Your Cashback may be tracked at a different rate initially and adjusted to the correct rate when we confirm the transaction details.

Cashback will be credited only for completed, eligible travel.
Cashback is not applicable for purchases made via the Wotif app.
Cashback may not be available until 120 days after the completion of travel.
