  • As someone on Felix will I be able to port to this? Also does the 30% track on $199 or is it on the before gst amount?

    • The overall amount was $60 that tracked from SB.

    • +1

It is a prepaid sim, there is no GST.

  • 30 day activation clause?

    • +1

      Yes.

  • Bought this last week :(

    • How much cashback did you get?

      • +1

        I believed $59.70 cashback.

  • +2

Maybe a bargain - but I went with vodafone once and never again. Black spots everywhere - could barely drive out of town without the call cutting out.

    • +6

Voda actually works better than Telstra where I live so I guess it depends on your location.

      • I have a friend on Voda for like 2 years, then switch to Telstra on Boost and never came back😂 I'm on Telstra too and it works most places from regional to metro. So maybe Voda is cheaper for a reason 🥲

      • +2

        I'm in the same boat.

Telstra speed test all over different areas of local suburb
        Download 0.2mb/s upload 15mb/s

Yet they say there is nothing wrong with the tower. Uploads are faster than the crawling downloads. That's not normal.

4G congested to oblivion post 3G switch off. 5G might be ok. Don't know.

        • Yeah was on boost. Congestion is an issue on telstra network.

Plus voda has recently expanded their network. So happy to try for cheap

    • Personally find voda struggle with peak times despite having full signal in Brisbane. Opted for boost, never went back. I just port out and in. Worth the extra $50 or so.

    • I had this issue using their third party network with Kogan, was terrible so I went back to Boost, but the price talks so I will see how Vodaphone main network does.

Does the data last for the whole 12 months. So 300gb for the whole year?

    • +1

      yes. that is 365-days quota

  • -1

How is a price match a deal?

  • Better than Amaysim deal?

  • What's considered as new customer because I haven't been on their network for 10 months (?) am I eligible?

    • +1

correct me if I was wrong, if you with Kogan even it is Vodafon network. you are new customer for Vodafone direct. Unless you were Vodafone direct customer.

      • +1

i won't correct you because I'm pretty sure you are Not wrong Sir.

  • Hmm, I'm with voda so no point but my daughter's plan is due late Feb. This is tempting for that - but then again, I have her on WW everyday mobile and the monthly discount probably almost covers the cost of that one… I guess I'll wait..

    • +1

Vodafone get 5G uncap speed, if she care about the speed.

  • +1

Does kogan mobile use the voda network? I signed up with them for the black Friday sale last year and it hasn't been bad. Thinking of jumping ship to this

  • What's the limit? Can i buy 2?

    • +2

AI said ok to have two numbers for Vodafone.

      • I mean tobe eligible for cashback, my bad

  • Thanks OP, have bought. Lets see if it tracks!

  • HODL for BF sale or push the buy button? My plan with FL-OPTUS expiring end of Nov.

    • I was in the same boat — but then I finally pulled the plug on the deal!

  • Tracked after 5 mins, thx… happy to get away from the trash Optus service

  • +2

Remember to opt in to auto recharge for additional 100GB when activated. Just did that early this week and get 400GB of data

    • What happens if you opt out a few day after activating?

      • No idea. I am planning to opt out few days before my 1 year up. But maybe others have done it before.

  • Thanks OP!
$59.70 CB tracked within a minute!
