    I have a similar kit hooked up to the reverse lights power in my fathers car; It only beeps at the last 15cm or so of room.

    He can drive, but since it's a long classic american car, getting within 10cm of a wall is the only way to not be an ass, and stick out into the lane, at shopping centres.

  What does the kit include?
  Do we need to buy the soldering gun and any other item

    It is all the components but not the tools. In terms of how useful the end product is, for the money it's worth it but the value is definitely in the educational aspect as prebuilt consumer products are 10x better for maybe 5x the price.
