Mechanical PC Keyboard Suggestions

Hey everyone, I'm looking into getting a new PC keyboard, mechanical.

The two keyboards I have in mind are the:

Logitech G413 TKL SE $98 or
Cougar LUXLIM RED Low-Profile Optical-Mechanical Gaming Keyboard $119.

Which ones would you recommend or feel free to suggest.

I'd suggest going to a JB or computer store and testing some out yourself. It's so hard to tell without testing them with your hands.

    • only options store wise are Bigw EB harveynorman

Neither, get one of the Epomaker boards off Amazon or a Keychron. Infinitely better build quality and feature set for the same price or less.

Logitech G build quality is horrendous. Speaking from experience.

Hey mate I’m a mech kb fanatic and have several mechanical keyboards.

As another poster recommended, an EPOMAKER x AULA boards from Amazon is a good choice, but even better if you can afford the extra budget is an ND75 from umart. They have a super good deal on at the moment. I got one got one for a friend and it’s insane value as it can be tricky to get these midrange $100 usd keyboards at this low price in Australia. You can find many reviews on YouTube.

  • Logitech was once great
now they done a Gerry Mander
might as well use the K-mart and dump it every few months when signs of wear appear?

Have no idea where you're located but Centrecom in Richmond VIC have a few keyboards on display you can try. Hard to get a feel for the different switches and sounds until you actually type on one.

They recently had a sale on some of their aluminium case Yunziis but that finished a few days ago. But this plastic case 75% is still relatively cheap:

There's lots of Chinese brands out there that make some great keyboards. Often they are OEM keyboards but different sellers specify different configurations. I love logitech for their mice, but the newer Chinese brands offer far more choice and design features if you are into that.

The Ducky someone mentioned above is a good buy as well:

Neither, they're both overpriced and have rubbish build quality. Look at Keychron's, or the other Chinese keyboards suggested above (Ducky is also decent).
