I still wouldn't eat them, but it's your choice.
Believe research is coming out that microplastics shed a lot in dishwashers and microwaves, understand that something's gotta kill ya, but might be worth getting borosilicate glass containers instead.
Yep, I'm in the process of replacing my cheap plastic containers with glass. I would think twice about buying cheap garbage like this, especially now that we know how much it leaches into you.
Especially when it comes to baby bottles, which is something I only recently had to think about. Kmart had some 500ml glass on clearance, Amazon sometimes has sales on the decor 1.5 and 1L ones. Tomee Tipee make the glass baby bottles we went with
baby bottles, which is something I only recently had to think about.
Guess you missed out on this deal

Where are you buying from? I'm starting the search as well
Baby bottles here, same price at big W, if you buy a bunch you'll qualify for the 5% off at Amazon tho.
Decor one I got still has a plastic lid:
https://amzn.asia/d/aXCuYSpKmart equivalent seems to use silicone, the clearance ones I got are oos. They have a bigger range of rectangular ones as well. But this one is ribbed for your pleasure.

Sorry but big micro plastics is always one step ahead. Apparently glass ones have more micro plastics.
Did see this a few days ago. Who would have thought😏
The answer lay not in the bottle, but in the cap—specifically, the paint coating the outside of the metal caps used to seal glass bottles
Doesn't really apply to things like glass food containers. Like any study, they're not really universally applicable to every situation.
That's not talking about glass containers , it's talking about the caps used in beverage caps.
Same.. have said no to plastic storage
Yeah my parents still use the awful ones that are clearly evident they've shedded, I hate it lmao
I ordered two on onepass, maybe I'll store nuts and bolts and screws and nails in them and you've got to die of something anyway.
Yeah people terrified of microplastics must think they will never die. Why worry so much?
I was using plastic up until this point because idgaf. But I don't want the human I brought into the world to get some surprise colon cancer or whatever else this shit might cause. It's just minimising risk to hopefully avoid worry and terror later I guess. Plus now I get to look for new deals and buy more stuff.
In case you were being sincere, no one’s thinking that. Quality of living is a real thing. Health is the most expensive aspect of that real thing. If you are good at bargain hunting, this is a no brainer.
Probably from ingesting bolts and screws.
Yikes plastic dont buy
Good for storage - I believe as long as I do not use it for food, it will be alright.
I got something similar years ago from IKEA. Been using them for electronics, as cheap jiffy boxes.
We are gradually changing all pots and pans to stainless steel and Tupperware to glass. These pp ones stain very easily as well
so why did you click on this deal?
He did it to warn others via the comments section. Mission accomplished.
You can still store your Lego collection in these.
Bad news: The microplastics have now entered your brain.
I bet these leach plastic like anything into everything it touches.
Great for food, according to the review.
I'm sold!
