Maybe add 2 more to be secured?
No need. Four blobs of blutack is enough extra support to stop it wobbling when you crack up the volume
Can vouch these are awesome. Have a few things hanging on these. About to mount a 36kg mirror using the big versions. Wish me luck
I mounted a 22kg mirror with 2x 11kg claws, no issues.
Would folks recommend these?
Im not sure I'm a fan of sticking a spike like that through a wall panel. But that's really what a nail is at the end of the day.
They only leave really small slits that you have to really look for. I can vouch
Yep would recommend - have been using them around the house to hang up bits of artwork. First came across them on this YT channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZTIIpJCuGg&ab_channel=Bills…
They're really good.
Way better than a nail or other hook system. Hold a heap of weight, very easy to install (and come with aligners), and leave the tiniest slits on removal. Incredibly easy to make disappear.
If you have plasterboard walls, 100% wouldn't use anything else to hang things.
Is the 7kg rating per hook?
Eg if I have 5 hooks will that hold 35kg?

I think so.Eg if I have 5 hooks will that hold 35kg?
how can you be sure the weight is evenly distributed?
If perfectly loaded then yes. Each does work equal to the weight divided by how many there are. But doubt you can perfectly load them.
Anyone know what the laws state about using these in a rental in WA? Is it still really necessary to ask for permission to make such a minor modification? Is the landlord still allowed to say no to something like this?
These work well, and leave very small holes, easy to patch. You could do paint touch-ups with a cottonbud… that wouldn't/couldn't be deemed an issue. But, for a rental, I'd be using 3M command strips.
Have you used the aliexpress version?
Aliexpress claim can load: 18kg
(vs Bunnings 7kg)
Bunnings dropship the old version from Ali?
The legit ones come in different sizes/ratings so I assume the Ali ones do as well.
I've no experience with the Ali ones but I agree with others that these things are awesome for the right situation, literal 5 second job. I'll be getting some Ali ones delivered next time I have a need.
Is this everyday price at Bunnings?
Evidently not. It is now $21.84.
I tried this on bricks and it failed .
You failed
Looks like they’ve corrected the price. I’m getting $21.84 now.
