@INFIDEL You probably have this :)

RTN stands for retainer I believe. This offer is only targeted on accounts with very long period of inactivity to the points that all pts are abt to be forfeited.

Specifically for accounts that haven't been used for about 5-6 months.
This is a recurrent offer that appears every month or so.

It says "Don't let your points expire" but points expire after 18 months of inactivity.

Thanks. First time to have received this. Been shopping at Coles recently.

Thought I've seen 2000 points mentioned here with 1c spend but it may have been a different offer.

  • Didn’t get this :(

  • Does anyone have any insight why the offer's from the woolworths edr has gone down hill in the last 6 month's or so? Coles is so much better.

I think they have pivoted in strategy. I've noticed relentless spam from EDR lately: 10x points on skincare, 10x points on pantry items, 10x points on freezer items, etc (every single week). Sometimes four emails from them in one day. I started marking them as spam in Gmail, because they were all bad offers, so they're now going straight to junk folder.

Maybe Woolworths' marketing team think 10x points means a lot to customers, but it equates to 5% off, so not sure how dumb they expect their loyal members to be. Loyalty is conditional, and I'll happily shop with Coles until the offers or incentives to switch to EDR are more consistent.

      • Yep they target your basket of goods and of you haven't bought in those categories or intermittently you'll get spammed with those offers.
