I guess they are clearing last year model for the 2025 model.
Only major difference is 32GB -> 64GB storage now (and the colour).
And there is one additional sensor that measures "Antioxidant Index".
Totally not worth it - buy the 2024 Ultra if you are considering the Ultra series.

I believe the 2024 model also has the sensor, but it's locked behind software. Once it updates to One UI 8.0, it should unlock the feature.
@RichardL: There are two features that will be locked to the 2025 model, not really important ones tho. Antioxidant index works on 2024 model from those who got One UI 8.0 in EU.
Generally the best time to purchase Samsung flagship products is on release with the stacking of all the pre-order bonus and/or vouchers (or when it's being replaced by a new model).

Great price, thanks. I got this at launch, returned it recently due to an annoying coil whine… Samsung refunded the full purchase price ~$850. Now I can buy it again for $300 less.
With the LTE do you still need a phone plan to add on LTE for these sorts of watches? I'm only pre paid and my Samsung watch 4 needed a plan, there was another way but it was a hassle.
Depends on your service provider but a majority make you go on a plan still, regardless of whichever watch you have.
Older stock, Telstra had it for $595 other month before the new model launch. I still see people trying to get $600+ used for these on Marketplace.

it does, i have both, the only thing i dont have is samsung exclusive features, which is ecg and some minor stuff.
i've also unbloated samsung apps like samsung wallet, and bixby, and put gemini and google wallet as defaults.

That’s one of the reasons I can never justify spending a lot of money on anything other than Apple. They never hold their value, even as brand-new products. And don’t even get me started on the second-hand value!
