I'm not sure what vouchers Samsung chat are currently offering, but it would be worth asking. It was possible to get the price as low as $349 with vouchers last time.

The Tab S9 has an 11" AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and comes with an s-pen.

This price is for the 128/8GB wifi version. Remember that you need a trade in device to get the $300 trade in bonus. The final price (without additional vouchers) will be $499 minus the value of your trade in device.

    I managed to get the 256gb 12gb ram for only $17 extra from edu portal, around a week ago.. for whatever reason it was posted by another user but mods marked it as unattainable.

    Confused.. Checkout says $799 not $499.

    So without a trade in - is it $499 or $799?

      What I am wondering is if the 256gb model can still be bought on the edu portal for $517

    799-300 for trade bonus - $100 using an old trade in voucher. -$1 device

    $100 and 10%off aren't stacking

      I got mine by saying I am interested in buying the tab s9. They immediately jumped and threw the 10% voucher my way pushing me to make the purchase now.

          Nope, separate companies, Samsung honour the trade in promotion they offer regardless if you send it in or not.

          I think that is a deep trap for Samsung. If they cannot find value in developing a plus model, they definitely will be losing money developing a mini tablet. The people asking for that size, wont want to pay more than a base model and just buy when its super discounted. It needs to be sold for as well as the 11 inch for economies of scale to work. Besides, they'll also be competing with their own fold phones. Complete bad idea all around.

    If the s9 tab was released in 2023. Does that mean the stock you get are 2 yrs old, meaning the battery has been sitting idle and empty in its box for all this time?

    Does that result in a deterioration of the battery life, resulting in shorter lifespan?

      Release and manufacturing are two different things, to your point, the manufacturing process still continues after release, they don't make a set amount then stop, so no you're not likely to get a device that's been sitting idle for two years.

    Returning a Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2025 because several apps are buggy or doesnt work at all (like duolingo) after latest zui update.

    Rather stick with something reliable with global rom for now.

      I was going to trade in an ole iPhone SE but now only accepts Gen2 or later. I thought Gen1 was there yesterday when checking. Shame as it's a great deal but now don't have anything compatible to trade in. That put a sudden halt to things!

        No they've removed the extra $300 tradein bonus like they did last week for the edu store when it was 50% off. live chat told me it's an error as the deal should be expired….even though I showed him screenshots that it expires 14th of Aug. Booooo

        Nope, the trade in devices are the same however the trade in bonus amount simply doesn't get deducted off the price atm. Price shows as $789 now instead of $489.

        Hopefully this gets fixed

          Apparently it's an error. I think they are removing it because people are still able to stack 10% codes on top of the tradein bonus and they are trying to stop that altogether.

          True, but of course, one does need a "legit" trade-in item to go through the process (checks IMEI) etc. . Fair enough I suppose but without one, there isn't a way to get the additional $300 discount unfortunately.

    Possibly issue is that they have setup 04/08/25 instead of 14/08/25 for bonus end date. Have escalated via support they said they are working on it. This is on all there shops not just EDU store.

    One apparently must trade in a "Tablet" to get the Bonus $300. I just tried with a watch. I get the $5 for it but not any $300 bonus. I spoke to chat who confirmed this as part of T&C and must be a tablet!.

    Update: I contacted Samsung this morning and was told that this $300 promo is no longer available and that they were still waiting for management to get the Website updated!
    CS Noted: "we are very sorry for not getting the expected $300 trade in discount credit, and that there was nothing on their end that they could do to change this."

    All they could do was offer me a 10% discount which I already had regardless. They won't honour my tablet trade-in. Not good Samsung,.

    I have requested that this deal be marked as Expired as the deal is no longer obtainable.

        Are you 100% certain? When I traded a tablet no credit was applied. CS agent confirmed only an hour ago that the $300 has expired and that Website needs updating to reflect this. Did you just do a trade in the last hour or so and see the trade value PLUS $300 bonus get added to your check-out cart?
