Expired $4 after cashback at TopCashback link here.

  • 5G with International calls.
  • Boost has reduced the price from $39 to $13 for the 50GB 28-day prepaid SIM.

SIM includes first recharge. 50GB for the first 3 recharges for new activations. 25GB from 4th recharge. Activate by 6 Oct 25, remaining recharges by 5 Dec 25. All for use in Aus. 28 day expiry. Incl. international calls.

Also $200 after cashback for the 300GB 12-month plan at TopCashback.

My notes:

  • Please note that letting the number expire and not recharging is eligible for cashback.
  • Please don't deactivate or port away until you receive the cashback. Deactivate means requesting Boost to remove the number.
  • Terms and conditions are from Telstra/Boost and apply to all cashback providers. Confirmed with the rep tightarse here, here and here.
  • Cashback is on the purchase of the physical SIM only. You can convert to eSIM after you have received the physical SIM. Activate the physical SIM first, insert and then convert to eSIM.
  • If you're a current Boost customer, you will need to port out into another provider and then port back into Boost. Please see the steps in my comment here.

TA's Tracking Tips:

  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave and close any additional browser tabs.
  • For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase, and must not be deactivated until your cashback is payable. If the SIM is deactivated prior, Boost may decline cashback.
  • Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. If there is more than one SIM in an order, it will result in an untracked purchase and the purchase will be ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on eSIMs, recharges, phones, bundles, accessories, $2 SIMs.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

Anyone switched from Boost and happy with whatever alternative they went to?

    • +1

Subscribing for answer. Have 4 on boost, and aldi family plan is looking the best candidate.

Recharging on boost isn't just cost effective. Telstra running the brand off now that they own it?

      • Yeah, was Aldi before I switched to Boost, thinking of going back too

    • Boost to Optus and I'm stoked. Boost ks over congested in my area. Full bars nil data

      • Something to look into. Cheers.

    • Amaysim annual plan myself for last 2 years as includes international calls like Boost. Used to be around $125 via Woolies but has gone up. It's via Optus and 4G, not 5G which is a dealbreaker for some?

  • Anyone having issues? Ive tried for about a week now keep having server issues after putting in credit card details including using laptop

      Please try the following suggestions:

      • Use a debit card instead of credit card.
      • Use a different email.
      • Type your address manually.
        (i) Type any address and choose "I can't find my address" as shown here.
(ii) Add your address manually in the "Address" section shown here. It's below "Delivery address".
(iii) Vary a little e.g. St instead of Street, Ave instead of Avenue etc.

If you experience any issues at the checkout page, start all over again to ensure tracking. Click the pink button at TopCashback through to Boost website again.

      Good luck!

      • Following your suggestion, during my first attempt I changed the email address and switched from a credit card to a debit card, but the payment still failed. On my second attempt, I also changed the contact phone number (the number I used during the first attempt had already been activated by Boost), and this time the order finally went through successfully. Thx.

        • the number I used during the first attempt had already been activated by Boost

What do mean by activated by Boost?

My understand is you tried to order rather than activate a SIM.

Did you use the same contact number in both attempts?

  • How long does it take for the cashback to payable?

    • +2

Estimated payable is 15 weeks according to the transaction in my account. Cashback is usually paid in about 3 months. Some people have mentioned they could port out when it turns "confirmed" in the account and received cashback. It's not a guarantee though.

My Boost purchase on 12th May has turned "payable" on 25th July so that took just over 2 months to be paid. It was "confirmed" before 30 days from purchase date and the number could have been ported out.

What do the statuses 'pending', 'confirmed' and 'payable' mean?

      • +1

My cashback from the previous deal ($15 off $17 for the $49 plan) has just become payable only 7 weeks after purchasing

        • Same. Boost $49 SIM was purchased on 28th June and payable today 12th Aug.

  • So after initial 3 months, the price reverts to $39?

    • +1

$13 Boost offer ends on 25th August as per their website. First purchase is $13 (with $9 cashback from TopCashback) for 50GB. 2nd and 3rd recharges would be $39 each for 50GB each SIM.
