Amazon basics $0.745 per AA battery
    Maxell $0.479 per AA battery

What is that based on? Amazon basics are $33.85 for 100pk = $0.3385 per AA battery.. Even the 48pk is $21.59 = $0.45 per battery. They also have a 10 year shelf life, whilst your listing only promises "Expiry min 2 years".

    • Are wincell batterys alright? Aaa and aa,

      • No idea.

    • The OP is using battery “efficiency” or “economy” to make the deal sound better on paper. They’re saying the Amazon battery is 96% efficient, then doing a cost-per-efficiency calculation, then standardising against the Maxwell batteries supposed tested "205% efficiency", which makes them look way cheaper per unit.

There are a few problems with this: They don’t say where the Maxwells came from — so we don’t even know if they’re legit, Batteries naturally lose charge over time, so the real-world efficiency is never perfect. and honestly, comparing batteries based purely on one test.

      • Batteries are made in China, They are genuine Maxell . I have imported a container of them

Ive got Maxell batteries that Nintendo used to include with limited edition Wii games that included the wiimote, these were AA batteries made in Japan on them.
The image in OPs lisiting look identical but hard to know if they are recent batteries thats possiblly made instead at one of their Chinese or Malaysian plants.

Op posted as I was typing lol

i edited the price to 0.33 cents

    • sealed packs

      • Thanks for the reply.

  • Base on everyones thoughts i further reduced the price 0.33 Cents a battery . They are Hitachi Maxell genuine Stock

  • any other questions please let me know . I am here to help

  • honestly not a bad price from an ebay seller. but the main item picture completely missed the point. thought it was 4 batteries on the thumbnail

  • okay ill keep a note of that for next time

  • I have added photos so you can see exactly what you are buying

  • Free shipping is nothing to sneeze at considering the weight.

  • Great seller, my go to for coin batteries. Any upcoming deals for CR2032H batteries? ;)

    • Same here… The cr2032h from last time have been great…

      • Japanese made or the cheaper one ?

        • +1

          Japanese one

  • Do you sell rechargeable batteries without a charger?

  • I have 5 pallets of the AA 4 pack i need to clear out , once ive cleared them then we will do a deal with the CR2032H

  • i have 3k pieces of battery chargers with batteries what price do you want to pay for it

    • I don't really need a charger.
Not sure what you are happy to let go of it for.
Normally would pick up batteries from IKEA ladda which are Japanese made but keen to hear your pricing

  • i can do 3 chargers and 12 AA batteries for $49.95 , how does that sound

    • Thanks but it's ok. The Ikea's are $10 for a pack of 4, happy to go get them there thanks buddy. I really don't need more chargers.

  • Also i would like to hear your thoughts do people what to pay slightly extra for the Made in Japan AA cells?

    • I would, eneloops and ladda I think are rated most positively in this community but happy for others to provide their thoughts

    • So are you planning to post a made in Japan for the ones posted here… Or were you referring to rechargeable ones? Would be keen to know. Thanks

  • eneloops are basically panasonic , the higher quality cells are the ones made in japan

    • Yep I own the Panasonic ones as well. Their recharge life expectancy is generally higher than competing brands as well

  • Made in Japan cells are the best in the world, thats why they are expensive

  • are you planning to post a made in Japan for the ones posted here… Or were you referring to rechargeable ones? Would be keen to know. Thanks
