Aldi has a Waterpik waterflosser for $54.99.
I recently purchased a Waterpik from Priceline and paid $105.00.
Don't think I can return dental hygiene products…

Much better than a the Aldi version. No mucking around with batteries too.
Thanks just bought one!
Thanks, MVP for the day.
Showing as $89 for me?
Shows as $70 for me! Wonder why all the different prices….
Thanks bought one delivered today!
Thanks for this
I bought a cheap no-name one off eBay a while back, it was large, noisy and hurt my teeth like all hell, can anyone comment on this Piksters brand one?
Boo to battery operated
Battery much better than corded.
Huh?
YMMV, but I tried a water floss before and personally felt it was gimmicky e-waste. Went back to regular floss.
What does the dentist use on their patients? String or water?
They aren't using a Waterpik Cordless Waterflosser.
My dentist said that I still needed to use string floss, irrespective of the waterfloss.
Neither
Dentists use ultrasonic scalers, which uses water but only to flush away the debris before it's sucked up. The water isn't actually intended to dislodge the debris tho, as it is in a water pik, the vibrations are meant to dislodge the debris.
Now to find a good deal on an ultrasonic scaler.
I use both :) generally will waterpik in the mornings, and regular floss at nights
The description says that this can be used in the shower, but that's a load of bull. I bought this exact same model from Shaver Shop and used it regularly while showering. When the time comes to replace the battery, I found out that the gasket is not waterproof or steam proof. The battery compartment got wet and I got those brown rusty spots on my precious Laddas. The batteries and the waterflosser still work, but I'm not risking it. Got it returned and bought a USB-C flosser from Amazon for like 30$ which has a lot more features and won't ruin my batteries.
Can you provide a link to the shower-proof one you got?

So far so good, but one complaint is that the bore of the tip is wider than what I used before, so the stream is wider and cannot get in between the teeth as easily.
does this just replace regular flossing? and how well does it replace it?
From some of the reading that I found online, regular flossing is better than using a water flosser, but using a water flosser is still better than not flossing. I'm too lazy to floss so I used a water flosser everyday while showering, which is a good compromise I guess. I still use regular floss if something's stubborn stuck to my teeth, however.
ah fair enough, I floss daily so it seems like this isn't for me. cheers
It is still good complement to flossing. Especially when you have stuff stuck between teeth. It is really fast and effortless.
Flush, brush, floss.
I have a sub $30 knockoff from Amazon and it works great months between recharges and gets used daily.
Bought it to see if it's worth buying the more expensive version but it works so well that there is no need to upgrade.
Terrible deal.
You can get much better quality ones for ~$30 via Amazon (or even cheaper off AliExpress).
How do you know the good ones from terrible quality ones?
I have no clue about water flossing.
Not sure how good is this but the well rated Vimmk branded ones are on sale at Amazon for $29.99 (white model)

Reminder that this does not do the job of flossing, which is to scrape the sides of the teeth facing each other (that the brush does not get to), especially around the gumline.
It does dislodge chunks, but that's usually the least high priority (as brushing and flossing will achieve this anyway).
blew my teeth away
Bought one from aliexpress ages ago. Still going strong
WE just buy a big box of cheap plastic ones from Ali or Temu, anyone comment on how water flossing is better or is this better ?
Also if you have sensitive bleeding gums then is this easier / softer on gums ?
Cordless Piksters brand cheaper with more attachments for $49 on Amazon https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07JWCTWJV?ref=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_a…
