Pokemon will slowly become more readily available once the resellers ruining the hobby find another trend to hop on that consumes more time than labubu reselling.
I'd suggest you give it some time before jumping into pokemon. These "limited availability at rrp" moments come and go. You will see "readily available at or below retail" eventually.

There's plenty of supply for the resellers/scalpers to get literal hundreds of boxes. The only reason there's issues meeting demand is BECAUSE of the resellers/scalpers.
So wrong on so many levels. Resellers are parasites. They have ruined everything from Sneakers to Whisky/Bourbon to Pokémon cards. Just look at eBay and FB and Gumtree for evidence. The main problem is resellers are doing ethically shady shit to control supply like using bots with hacked residential proxies, automated checkout and thus forcing legit fans and users and honest people to buy resale. No one has a problem with making money, resellers are just greedy in the end and make money from desperate consumers.
@GardenGnome: A lot of these consumers that fuel the resellers are the so called "investors". Pokemon TCG is going to crash as the cost is going to be an entry barrier to new kids wanting to join the game and no new players mean that the game will die.
Hell, I am hesitant to open my packs now too knowing how much they are going for now.
