  • 24kg is a year's worth of filament?

    • +1

Literally, since website says they send you 2kg per month for 12 months

Whats a good 3d printer about $500 max?

    • +6

      Bambu Lab A1 for $449.

      • plus $30 delivery :)

        • you can get one at a brick and mortar store for $450 depending on where you are - and a big plus is getting a local warranty on it too

      • Thanks!

      • Do you mean the mini? I couldnt find the non mini for $449

        • +1

No, the larger A1 for $449 from official Bambu Lab site, without the AMS Lite.

        • mini is like 350$ brand new, 200$ for a second hand is reasonable.

  • I got the p1s recently. Been printing every day 2 x 5 plus hour prints and a few smaller then 2 hour prints. Minimum 12 hours a day. My favourite purchase in a long time.
    I bought 10 rolls. Then day 2 i purchase another 10.

    • What are you printing?

      • +3

Toys random stuff for kids and now storage stuff. Gridfinity is pretty crazy.

        • I had both my Ender 3 V2 and my K1 printing gridfinity stuff from morning until night for 3 days.
Still plenty more I could print

        • im using gridfinity too, not cos its the best, but its the most popular. i am trying to bring it into the place i work, and convince my boss to buy one printer that's way better than my mini, so i can use his to print stuff, ultimately. xD

  • The S1 combo was $479?! That is bonkers and I'm sad I missed it

    • It wasn't the combo, it was the printer only at that price. Imo it was a good deal still at that price.

      • Ah that's significantly less exciting though, the dumb website says it's the combo for that price which would be almost $300 cheaper than the ebay deals

Or grab a Bambu Labs A1 combo ($699) with 20 rolls of Jayo (~$115 per 10) filament delivered for $930.. Even cheaper with an A1 without AMS, or A1 mini combo
