even with this promotion, you're still going to be worse off financing through Kia

Financing rate? Otherwise meaningless unless the rate is on par or below market.

  • K4 getting the biggest 'contribution' should tell you exactly what you need to know, sedans are in the mud. Amazes me these companies still produce them.

      I believe they've got a hatchback coming.

It is a small car (the new Cerato) it will sell fine.

Full size sedans are dead/dying much to my sadness. Most SUVs are smaller inside than a full size sedan with worse handling/fuel efficiency due to being higher and less aerodynamic and zero better off road I dont know how they became the default.

        • Easier to get kids in seats (but harder for kids to get in by themselves)
        • easier to load stuff in the boot
        • easy ingress/egress for old people
        • better driving view

My personal favourite - less prone to being blinded by idiots who point their headlights so high or are using some 50w led they got from ebay with reflectors.

I don't think people really look at the length of the car much at all when shopping, they just see ooh 4wd must be big when in reality most of them are alot less than your average 4.8m sedan

You really want a small people mover like a Honda StepWgn.. sliding doors are a godsend with kids

Comments like these disincentivise people from posting deals.

If I was actually advertising or sock-puppeting or posting something political, then sure, but I'm not. People use dealer financing, rightly or wrong, so a $1,000-$3,000 discount on that financing definitely constitutes a deal.

I had a K4 as a rental for a couple of weeks after getting involved in a car stack. Besides the annoying safety warnings, which can be turned off via the custom "star" buttons, it was actually a pretty good car.

      It's just a rebranded Cerato 🤷

I was happy with my old Cerato. It was built in Korea though, these K4's are built in Mexico.

  • I wonder if they could extend the deal to include a free 'Ugly-Stick' they beat the Tasman with.

    • It's actually my favourite looking ute!

… until I see the front. They'll need to start including hooped bullbars to cover the front up. They also need a model with more power.
