I know there's cheaper options for just cables, but these show the wattage on a display so you can ensure your devices are charging at the correct rate(s).

There's 100w for slightly less but I'd future proof because it's not much difference. Note even the ones that don't advertise transfer/thunderbolt support I've found work fine for it still.

If you're after <100W cables with displays, it cheaper to get Essager or Toocki from AliExpress.

Personally prefer to pay a little extra for Amazon support, if it breaks anytime within a year or you have any issues they refund it with no return required.

I have 5+ cables and one got a bit fiddly to get working, they refunded it instantly. For ~$10 it's worth that imo

        Fair enough.

I personally started with SooPii cable with displays, but I wanted to grab a few extra so it was cheaper for me to get Essager/Toocki from AliExpress.

It was about a third of the price compared to SooPii (cheaper if you get them in AliExpress bundles offer and/or during their sales).

        • Have you tested how accurate they are? Curious to know if accuracy is good

SooPii is quite accurate, the only issue I've had is the one cable randomly disconnecting when charging my laptop (the port was a bit crap on that laptop too), instant refund though even though it was 10 months after purchasing.

          • @Dyl: I've tested them side-by-side with the SooPii (older 100w Cable) and they show similar numbers (maybe a difference of a couple of W at higher numbers).

In terms of how visible the display is; I would rank SooPii>Essager>Toocki, especially in sunlight.

I've only used them as charging cables, so can't comment on data transfer.

      • Same with aliexpress. If you are reasonable with return requests for faulty items, they refund and let you keep the item.

Have tooki and essanger and they are great. Bought them for a few bucks too

    • Anyone seen a USB c F to USB A F?

  • I bought these. They charge quick but the display is hit and miss. Didn't bother to return as the cables are solid

    • Haven't had issues with the display personally, just with one cable being a bit fiddly. Instant refund without return though

Note if for whatever reason the charger renegotiates, the display will flicker - this is expected. This happens if you plug something else in for example.

      • Instant refund? I don't understand. You didn't return?

  • I dont think this is cheap… plenty on ali…

Amazon backed support though, instant refund if there's issues. Aliexpress over ~45 days you'll never get a response.

Amazon a year later they'll refund it no questions asked, no return.

You can buy a handful of these on Ali for $25. So no worries if they break. Rather pay a few bucks than $12 for one cable
