I really appreciate people posting these deals, but for me at least, it's more helpful to link to the game page so I can decide whether I actually want it.

      Agree

The elite posts are the ones with the equivalent Steam links so I can see the reviews and have other people decide whether I want it for me

Has anyone ever played a single one of these free games? I don't think I have.

I got kingdom come 1 from these epic free games deal before, I tried it, and i loved it. if it wasn't free in the beginning, i probably wouldn't try it. And now I am buying kingdom come 2 at full price. So these kind of free game deals actually works.

@KKHT Not related to post, however you will absolutely love KCD2! I loved the first game, they did an amazing job for the second. Enjoy :)

Certainly. When I had extra internet to use at the end of my plan one time, I downloaded a bunch of these games. I played Figment. Now I've built up a bunch of games in my account, that I actually had considered buying, and would play if I had time to play games. They are high quality games for free.

    • Ive stopped collecting unless its actually a game i MIGHT play. Haven't played a single one.

Same with Humble Bundles and other key deals. Sometimes I see a heavily discounted 'big title' and grab it as a deal, but with hundreds of titles across Steam/epic/gog etc I've realised I prob won't get around to these until I have free time in a decade or so :).

      • Welcome to the Ozbargain game collectors club.

Ive stopped collecting unless its actually a game i MIGHT play. Haven't played a single one.

You should keep collecting them all. It's about the journey, not the destination.

but with hundreds of titles across Steam/epic/gog etc I've realised I prob won't get around to these until I have free time in a decade never or so :).

        There. Fixed it for you.

        • Hehe thanks.

Yeah thats why i continued as long as i did, but ive eventually dropped out of habit of using my Friday Epic bookmark :)

@nosey: Same here. I’ve got more games than I could play in a lifetime and collecting the junk just makes my libraries harder to sift through.

My first was subnautica and that game is probably goat for me

I think the long dark was also from epic? Another game I loved

      • Oh yeah how could i forget!

That is one of my GOATs too and i DID play from Epic.

    • Not yet - it's all part of my retirement plan.

    • I spent a stupid amount of time playing Subnautica. Absolutely amazing. Played WWZ with a group of friends for a long while. Lifeless Planet was short and sweet. Plaid the shit out of the tomb raider games. And I've been playing KOTOR games on my phone with one of those Android phone holding controllers.

I'm a patient gamer so only ever buy stuff when they're on the steepest of discounts, so oftentimes, I get get stuff on EGS that I haven't bought yet but were planning to.

I've personally gamed on many titles from EGS, Two Point Hospital, Subnautica, Shipbreaker, SIFU, Dredge, Trek to Yomi, Outerworlds, etc.

I still have many on the list of really itching to try.

I'm not going to complain if EGS feels like providing them to me.

"Hidden Folks" is an excellent game for little kids. It's a hidden object game like "Where's Wally?". All of the sound effects are made by a guy with a microphone, and it's full of little jokes. I will get it for my niece/nephew.
