First time posting a deal, this seems pretty cheap for 4l of dot 4 brake fluid, i used pooly5 and got a little more off at checkout, both amazon and eBay have equivalent sales that equate to the combined cost of delivery, but i got myself a few other things to utilize the flat rate postage.

Just remember, it's Hygroscopic; so really shouldn't be stored once opened.

If you're going to store it, ziplock bag the bottle.

    • Always seems to have leftover gets chucked eventually

Agree. Unless you're bleeding the breaks brakes of 10 cars over the weekend I wouldn't bother getting a 4L jug.

      • $25 from supercheap for the non high performance small bottle. If doing a couple would be worth the waste, not for just one

        • If I was the OP I'd get 3 bottles of this instead for the same price. Longer shelf life sealed and friggin awesome fluid.

    • Is anything else Hygroscopic aswell?

Im thinking stuff like engine oil, transmission fluids, coolants

  • So it's $37.31 on ebay from the same people if you have an ebay plus account and use the code "DAD17" with free shipping.

You already mentioned this but I wanted to highlight it a bit clearer.

  • Bought a literiof dot3 for around $18.

  • I buy DOT3 from Toyota. It's only $11.

    • Dealerships always have the cheapest consumables.

Honda is the same, MTF is roughly $15, penrite is nearer $30.
