JUST TO BE CLEAR, this has two pillow covers, NOT an actual PILLOW, as per causal glance!!
$8 each is a good price to be sure.- 5

These don't seem to be waterproof?

I also, son understand the appeal of non waterproof pillow and mattress protectors. I don't think they are dust mite proof.

waterproof = not breathable. If you're a night sweater and sleep warm, you'll be much more uncomfortable with waterproof protectors. some prefer 'comfort' over 'hygiene'.
There are good solutions such as sleeping duck who have a washable top layer of the matress so its more breathable and hygienic.

Non waterproof, non hypoallergenic… Doesn't seem very useful.

Uh, waterproof pillow would be horrible.

If you use a foam pillow or even mattress like a tempur you have to have a waterproof cover. They're usually made from tencel so it's not like you're sleeping on a plastic bag. You sweat alot from your head while you sleep so I wouldn't use a pillow without one.

they are cotton, so not waterproof , but do feel nicer through the pillow case on a hot summer night vs synthetic.

What’s the point of these?

To make your old stain pillows look pretty

Replace pillow first. Then cover with these.

Glad Im not the only one that drools in my sleep

- 3

it’s a pillow protector to stop perspiration seeping through pillow case and onto the pillow cover.

one of the reviews: Cotton pillow protector not 100% cotton, It wasn’t all natural cotton as I was expecting. Synthetic inner layer. I wish it were made much clearer.

as long as the side touching skin is cotton, does it really matter?
- 0

the illustration says cotton fill, so worst case is send back, i got cotton filled last time but that was about 4 years ago now, just bought another set as a gift for someone. this is less than 1/2 price for all cotton ones compared to priceline or some of the manchester shops in shopping centres, did the rounds when i wanted all cotton for my euro pillows.
