long time buyer of connoisseur but have recently switched to aldi kapiti - similar price when on sale but I find kapiti better - anecdotally feels like connoisseur uses more fillers / gums / stabilisers etc
Kapiti always $7.99 at local Aldi. Personal tastes differ but for vanilla Coles Irresisitible VB $6.50 is at least as good.

That's because in NZ Kapiti is a premium brand, while Connoisseur is comparatively entry-level in that category. Both good ice creams though.
