  • Is this the latest ?

Yes, not a great one though.

Reviews show even at this price maybe not worth it

  • It's a shame as NFS were awesome back in the days.

  • +3

Suggest Need for Speed™ Hot Pursuit Remastered (2020) instead. Much better reviews.

Only neg reviews are people complaining about EA launcher and EA login. Actual game is good.

    • Very different concept to the newer NFS games, depends on your liking.

    • Depends on what you’re after - Hot pursuit is somewhat repetitive and nowhere near as engaging as the open world NFS games in my opinion.

  • Can you turn off the cartoon accelleration animations?

    • +1

      Yeah you can

    • mostly, unless you install mods.

  • +3

    worst NFS ever

  • The unite mod for this made the game playable but getting that mod to actually run consistently was too much of a pain.

  • +3

sucks that you gotta use EA malware to play it, otherwise i woulda bought it by now :(
    (profanity) EA

All NFS games are on special.

  • NFS was the greatest.
Unfortunately all went downhill after Pro Street which was imo the last best game.

  • +2

    NFS Heat is pretty good.

  • I think the last great NFS game was ‘Underground’

  • Visually nice but gameplay a bit average on a brief play. Cheap as chips though. I'm sure value for money still.

  • +1

    SPEED DON'T NEED

  • Warning light flashing. Trouble code is FUBAR.

  • i enjoyed playing through this one, had to install quite a few mods to make it playable though.

I really liked Need for Speed: The Run.

Was a no brainer from start to finish with not much mods or customisations or gamification - pure racing challenges in all kids of terrain and weather - west coast to east coast.

    • NFS Run happens to be of my favorite games from the franchise. I just loved the way it looked and found the storyline & music really good!

  • Does this game actually support Ray Tracing? I've been meaning to try out my new RTX card with any good racing sim. Any recommendations?

  • While it is not perfect, this is a fun open world racing game with a reasonable learning curve and you can devote as much time as you want into it. I didn’t complete all the challenges, just did the main story mostly.
