      The official name is Ho Chi Minh City - Saigon. Btw, Saigon is now the name of a suburb in HCMC

    I strongly advise booking expedited arrival with a company on Klook or something. Last time we went it took us almost 3hrs to get through customs while we watched others get collected and taken straight through.

        The option also came up as an add on when I booked a transfer from the airport to the hotel but at the time I didn't think I needed it. With two kids, 30 degrees and arriving at 10pm, it was hell.

      We travelled there in January this year. We arrived about 9 or 10 am and it took us under 10 minutes to go through customs.
