steam family members can't play the same copy of the game with each other, at the same time
Didn't mean to imply that, yeh family member players still can't exceed the number of licenses you have.
While you're at it @WhyAmICommenting, set up an Epic account for them too so you can collect the Friday freebies, handy when a decent multiplayer title comes along..
I haven't tried this myself, but found a post on Reddit that said it worked with Peak: nucleus-coop.github.io
It's a program that will let you play couch co-op for multiplayer games that don't normally support it, with only one copy.

Fun game! Definitely use the in game voice, not discord or anything. Good pickup and play game that doesn't really require long term commitment.
