Men's Side Pocket Joggers Trackpants $6 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store/ OnePass/ $65 Order) @ Kmart

870

So there I was, just casually strutting through Kmart like it’s my personal runway… and boom — spotted these joggers. The tag in the pic says white, but I found black ones (maybe white too? Who knows… wasn’t exactly on a treasure hunt).

Clearance sign said $8, and I’m like — excuse me? $8 for pants when a large latte costs basically the same? Sold. ☕👖

But plot twist — at checkout they rang up at $6. Six dollars! Naturally, I grabbed two because duh…

They were all lined up so neatly, like they were just waiting for me. Plenty of smalls and mediums and perhaps other sizes too.

As for quality? at $6… we don’t ask questions, we just live the bargain fantasy.

EDIT:

Online I never saw the stock but see from
comments below that it’s unavailable but I went in person to the Parramatta Kmart today and found hugeeee stock in the men’s section near those cheap t shirts or lingeries section… give that a crack tomorrow.

UPDATE TODAY:

All sizes and colors available I checked in person in the parramatta store today … difference between yesterday to today, yesterday at least 100 small sizes stock but today I didn’t find them perhaps mixed or sold but I didn’t see in detail

    clearance $6

    FTFY

  • we've found the fifth Gibb brother

  • Also available in Vic

  • Be honestly I still can’t convince myself to pay $8 for coffee, or even $6. But $6 for a jogger, I would not complain.

I bought a pair of these when they were $8.
The fluffy lining sheds - your underwear, socks and floor will have fluff all over them every time you take them off.

    • I see….still for rough use it’s ok can’t much complain… I agree as I have a hoody similar for 8 bucks from them and it’s similar but trust me look wise good and the fluff mostly are inside lol

      • Yeah, they are comfy and warm enough. Good enough for an upvote.

        EDIT
I've just put a pair on after typing that comment and little fluff balls flew out of the legs as I pushed my foot in.
I tried vacuuming them inside out when I first got them XD

Same - fluff everywhere cant really recommend these.
Huge ball of fluff in the washer too

    • Good enough to stay warm at home :)

    • This is normal. Goes away after a few washes.

It's Insport or nothing for me

    • Are insport really good quality?

      • I've always found them good quality at a reasonable price.

Haven't needed any for a few years so not sure about the price/quality now.

  • Avoid polyester joggers, and anything else polyester that touches your skin. Polyester dries your skin out, which is particularly bad during winter when there's less moisture in the air anyway. I find that polyester hoodies and jumpers are ok as they usually cover other clothing that touches your skin, although they're not as warm as natural fabrics, but underwear, joggers, etc that touch your skin are a nightmare during winter.

I think they would almost always be poly/cotton?

  • What size (M or L) is equivalent to a size 34 (inch) pants wearer? Kmart sizing is confusing as hell.

    • I wear a 32 in chinos and and typically wear a Kmart L if that helps.

    • Both sizes should be ok.
The Large is a bit baggy but in a relaxed way not a loose sack way.
The Medium is more snug but not a tight fit.

If you are quite tall you might need the larger size.

Bought one like OP due to the price but be warned!! They shed a lot of fluff! Shame about the quality but comfy and warm

Even for $6, these are probably single use, one wash and will start pilling and threads coming loose (actually it may start that before first wash).

Can anyone reeccomend a good brand for just plane track pants and hoodie?

Got some Bonds rescently, the pants I have warn a few times and look great, but somehow the back pocket is stretched out and that created a hole above it, either my toddler did that hanging off me or it happened in the wash, either way I don't think they're durable enough unless I got unlucky.

I also got a zip hoodie to match, I originally got XL and it was WAY too big, returned it and got a large, the large seemed to fit well but after a single cold wash and line dry it seems to have shrunk warped in a weird way. It's sort of too small at the back now, doesn't come below waistline, where as the front is fine. It's not that I have the wrong size because XL was gigantic.

Just want a go to brand for staple track pants (slim fit tapered joggers preferably) and hoodies, no labels or fanciness just basic shit but good quality….

    • Not sure if you'll find any (if you do tag me!) but about 12 years ago I bought a pair from one of those cheap shops or stalls in malls - I think it was actually a little shop in the pedestrian street at Bondi Junction - the kind that sell Australia sports tops and other tat.
Anyway they were on a table with a little sign proudly declaring the brand "Genuine Blackwood track pants only $12!"
Of course, I'd never heard of them but they looked decent, quite thick and comfily fleece-lined (without moulting!). I wore them at home constantly every winter (except to wash them). I still have them - little sign of wearing out anywhere, but the elastic went in the waist band a couple of years ago (can still use the drawstring to keep them up though).
I bought the Kmart ones to replace them.

I have this experience over and over, some random brand will last forever and then I can't find the same one anymore. Right now I have an Under Armour shirt that's lasted at least 5 years, wearing many many times, all my other UA faded or got holes or whatever many years ago, what makes this particular one so special?

I'm a big fan of the Uniqlo ones, got 3 pairs recently and very comfy but look smart

      • Have Uniqlo ones too and they are almost perfect but I don't like the way the ankle elastic is slightly loose, bit weird. They do have the zip pockets that I'm a huge fan off. The overall fit/style on the Bonds looks a bit nicer, but quality just doesn't seem as good, maybe I got a bad batch, might try to return and see if the replacement is better.

  • Cheers got two for delivery in SA
