Thanks OP , $110 for me

  • +1

Two accounts $50, one account $90
    Nice!

  • +2

    Thanks OP. $100 for me!

  • +5

    10,000 points $120/week
    or
    20,000 points $170/week

It's like they know I am a sucker for points…

    • Sadly I'm on $240/week these days. Not sure it's worth stockpiling at that rate..

      • +2

Mate, it'll take a year of not getting any Flybuys, for them to offer you ~$100/week spend.

Might as well get a new Flybuys in a different family members name

        • Interesting tip! Thanks

      • Just curious - why did people downvote this comment? I don't mind whatever it is

  • $100

  • +2

$70 for me. (haven't shopped at Coles for over a month now due to no good deals + better offers at Woolies)

  • it was $70 last time, now it’s $90. Bye for now coles. I be shopping at aldi / woolies 🤣

    • +3

Start a secondary flybuys card and they'll give you $50 offers on that most likely.

      • Will do. I don’t want to be like that guy who made fair bit and got blocked 🤨

        • +1

They'd never blink an eye at 2 cards, it's just the actual abuse like 5-10 cards that would get flagged.

  • Hardly receive any of these offers ….😕, guess Coles just doesn’t like me much

    • Coles is different to woolies. Coles rewards loyalty so you need to wake it up with a shop. Woolies rewards those who don’t shop. I asked ChatGPT and it agreed saying something about Cole’s having a officeworks, Bunnings, Kmart etc and woolies doing marketplace or insurance or something . No idea what it was saying

      • +6

Don't worry, chatgpt had no idea what it was saying either

  • +2

4x$60 offer again this time after completing 4x$60 last time.

  • 50 on 4 accounts, including the ones I used last time

    • +2

      50 on 8 accounts

    • -7

      50 on 22 accounts, 60 on 12 accounts.

      • +2

No way you can manage 34 accounts

        • +2

Well, I assume they don't call him Slippery Jim for nothing..

        • -1

          Use AI

  • $50

  • 10k for 60 on my spare account, nothing on my main. Oh well, better than nothing

  • +2

Somehow still got the base $50 offer after buying 3 gift cards last week and doing several $50-100 shops over the past few weeks.

    • I was like that for years. Seem to fluctuate $50-$70 on the offer now. I don't take up the $70 ones.

  • +5

Damn it, went from $50 on the last one to $80 this time. Will skip this one.

  • Got 10k points for 4 x $50

  • $50 for 10k

  • +2

back onto 50 spend on the algorithm - either don't shop or spend max ~$50 per week on your flybuys

  • mine went up by $20

  • +1

After doing a few big booze orders in the last 4 week spend (due to the SAVEMORE coupon and Coles Plus freebie), mine increased from $60 to $90.

Will pass this time, and keep doing low value $20-$30 spends until the algorithm resets.

    • Exact same case. Nice of them to give us a break for the next 4 weeks at least.

  • I always spend $51 or so, but this time offer is spend $60.

I will do $60 x4 this round as I have one more use of the free coles plus saver, but after week 4 I will stop going to Coles until it reverts back to $50

    • +5

You may find you're better off making small spends ($20-$30) rather than going cold turkey on Coles.

I've tended to find that the algorithm doesn't reset for a while if you don't spend (possibly because it thinks you're on holiday).

      • +1

I just buy a fruit time to time. $1-$2

  • can gift card be included as part of spending?

    • +1

No, but mobile recharges can be.

      • +2

        or opal top up

        • Hey, do all coles store offer opal top up? How do u ask for it? Thanks in advance

  • +1

$50 x 4 for the third consecutive time.

  • +1

Is it targeted? Seems like i never get any offer anymore. I have more than 30k points, could that be the reason?

    • Better redeem it asap just in case your account gets closed for any reason
      I read it somewhere…

    • +3

I have way more points than you but I still get the offers. When there are no current offers, I occasionally shop without scanning my FlyBuys card on purpose so they think I have gone over to Wooworths. I have no idea if this works but I always get the offers.

  • +1

Thanks OP. $50 and $60 on two accounts.

  • $60 and $70 on two accounts. Should be able to do both.

  • got $50 spend on mine

  • 130 for me 4 10K or 180 4 20K
    Not worth it!

  • +1

oops just cancelled Coles+ saver, hope still one last 10% discount will apply.

  • $120!!! Gtfo

    • +2

they know they own u ;)

      also create some more accounts
      dog,cat,bird,invisible friend, etc

  • +2

Thanks OP, did a few bigger than usual spend in the last offer so was a little worried if the $ spend will increase, but $50 again for me this time!

  • $70 on a card I've placed $150+ orders on in recent weeks.

    $80 on a card I haven't used in months.

  • +1

Coles run a mobile target. They'll keep moving the numbers up as you keep achieving the lure price. Ignore them for a while and get only what you what when you want to get it and the lure price will fall.

  • +1

I’m new to this. Do gift cards count?
It would be so much easier because i like to do my shopping when i need to and only buy what i need. Buying $50 gift card every week would much more convenient.

  • $50 old regular account
$60 on new and barely used account

I can't understand the Coles algorithm on this

  • 160 for 10K and 210 for 20K - skipping this round and taking a break..usually it is around $110 - $140 - slowly has creeped up…time to just ignore it and just do a regular spend to reset the algorithm

    • +1

You should consider getting more accounts. I usually get several $50 x 4 weeks offers for 10,000 points each, and will do this with three accounts, resulting in 25% off.

      • How do you keep up with getting sms codes for log in every time? Do u have multiple phone numbers?? If so do u use esims or?..

  • +2

I got $60 the last ?three times and didn’t accept them. I made small purchases every week or two (very few over $50) and this time I got the $50 offer :)

    • Exact same here. Last offer of $60 changed to $50 with regular <$10 shopping.

  • Two are back to $50 after ages untouched!

  • I’ve done two in a row now, so it’s bumped up to $70. It’d be fine is my 2 local coles weren’t shit.

  • +1

Has anyone noticed they have made the point redemption limit to only $10 off your shop once per day? Makes it very annoying to use points and got the minimum spend each week

    • +4

Why don't you redeem the max amount on flybuys app and pay by flybuys dollars?

    • +2

That is only for immediate redemption without transferring the points to the card beforehand.

  • So I have a "spend $50 and get 1000 points" - tomorrow is the last day.
I also got the "spend $60 for 4 weeks and get 10k points", first day tomorrow.

If I spend $60, will both be honoured?

    • +6

Yes, it'll stack, and if you wait til about 7:30pm, you may get lucky with another 50/1000 again and that would also stack.

  • Didn’t get anything

  • Got $50 thanks for the heads up

  • Mines $230/$280 - will look into a new flybuys account :o

    • $250 for me, but I spend that every week anyway.

      • +3

If you have multiple accounts and split the spending, you get more points

  • Anyway to fix it if you accidently choose the $50 off shop instead of points?

    • +1

FAQ says it is not possible to change, but doesn't hurt to ask over live chat.

  • I activated today and it says promotion starts tomorrow, spent my $60 today will it still count?

    • Yes it will if offer was already activated before shopping, but if anything else goes wrong CS will say you missed week 1.

It should have printed Congratulations on the receipt too

    • No it won’t be counted. You need to do the shopping within the promo period.

    • No it doesn't count. Unlike the biweekly offers, the start date is checked on these.

    • Online or instore?

I had already placed an online order on Thursday 14th for delivery Friday 15th and it counted towards Week 1 for me.

      • +2

For me Online Delivery and/or Click-and-Collect has historically always counted the actual delivery/collection date for the purposes of this promotion.

        • +2

There's also been other instances where I've activated a spend X amount for X points for a single shop after already placing an order and I've received the bonus points.

          Just lucky, I guess.

  • +1

$140/$190. So will skip until a low offer drops.
On the $50 or points, I always choose points to avoid the auto applied $50 clashing with another offer.

  • The time has come again.

I got below in four cards

    $50/weekly
    $50/weekly
    $60 weekly
    $70/weekly

The goal is to spend no more than $1 each week than needed. I will likely use only the lowest two cards. Rest of shopping goes to Wollies

  • is it better to collect the points; or dollars off shop ?

    • +2

      I prefer points

      • +1

Agreed, points gives the flexibility of using when you want to. Plus sometimes FB runs discount on GC redemption with points which may be handy also.

  • I ordered exactly $50 worth of groceries. They delivered $49 . :(

    • Check your online invoice. You may have still qualified for your week 1 shop.

      • Invoice does not say so. I wonder where to call and talk about this. Has anyone been in a situation like this

        • Did you have items that required being weighed to confirm their price (meat, produce, deli) or was an item out of stock?

        • I did once contacting through APP support, they recognized and advised to go ahead complete rest weeks with proper amount. then contacted back to get manual credit. not easy & long waiting.
2nd time happened, I just made another purchase in store to make sure it's "congras on receipt" to feel confident. suggested this way since you still have one week to finalize the first shopping.

          • @test8888: safer to do that 2nd shop! but boy is it annoying when it's not really your 'fault' the 1st one didn't meet the criteria!

            • @ltwo: Me and my whole family was sick whole week from cold. Hence, I ended up doing a second shop that showed congrats.. etc.
              Thanks for the advice

  • Anyone know if buying alcohol from Coles online qualifies for this?

    • +1

      Qualifies
