Don't say it is broken. When they ask you to send it in, say it is broken and you're happy for them to charge the no trade in fee.

@kaboom mel: it's a matter of luck I guess? sometimes I get these weird associates that happily give me a bunch of legit looking codes that promise huge 40% or more discounts but don't work
or sometimes I get a 10%. or extra $xx with trade in. but they are short dated.

Any decent cover+keyboard to go with it? Seems like the official cases are almost the cost of the tablet itself.
I used to be anal about cases, but the current tablet which is a S10 FE * have been using without anything (just a paper-like screen protector to reduce reflections)
I got some $20 case from Amazon for it, but then it doubles the weight. I will run this one without anything too. I carry it around in a TomToc sling (7L)

yeah… they are sooo expensive. Recently, I managed to get the same type but for the Tab S8. Managed to get it for $94 because the good guys ebay forgot to add the digit '2' at the front haha. Now I hope I can sell my Tab S8 with its keyboard cover for as much as I spent on this Tab S9 and its $194 keyboard cover…
@Late Trender: $94 is still plenty for a 3 y/o tablet but that's just me being cheap. Kind of surprised that I couldn't find any second hand as well. At this point I'm just contemplating in getting a cheap cover and settling with the Logitech keys-2-go.
@toolatetotheparty: yeah i thought it was a clearance price but every store still wants to sell near RRP it seems… you can find some tab s7 and tab s8 on facebook marketplace with their keyboard cover attached. maybe u can ask to sell separately. ima sell mine for $200 hopefully hehe. or somehow find a cheap back cover that does same thing because i can still use the keyboard to fit well
I went for a magnet-only flip cover case on AliE and I am a bit disappointed. I wanted one that had a flat top cover (not folding), so the tablet magnetically stands on the cover. Unfortunately, the magnets are only at very steep increments.

Yeah, AliE can be a hit or miss sometimes. As I mentioned above, I might just get a JETech case and use a logitech KB.
