Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Watch Party to Stream on YouTube Starting August 16

Get ready for the upcoming release of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle with a YouTube stream of the entire Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series for a special 24-hour event!

Starting August 16 at 10:00 a.m. PT on the Crunchyroll YouTube channel, fans can watch the entirety of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime series in a livestream format, which will include real-time live chat. The stream will feature the anime episodes and movies in Japanese with English subtitles, and then will be available for seven days after the stream ends. So be sure to tune in so you can be prepared for the opening minutes of Infinity Castle!

    some absolutely crazy animation, but the story is the definition of Mid
    still worth a watch (up until the swordsmith village arc anyway)

      Definitely worth watching for that AAA++ animation and I wouldn’t class the story as bad per se, but all the shiny and good is on the surface with this series. There’s not much below that surface, which actually may suit some.

              @AeymothSky: The 3 movies are essentially the final season. I assume once all of them are released they will turn them into a season like Mugen Train.

    One of few series where the protagonist is
    - Adorable and not a jerk
    - Is not overpowered and suddenly doesn't have power awaken (Ok Nezuko does)
    - Every character add value to fights.

      He had his awakening off-screen when he got his mark. But I like that the series doesn't go crazy with power scaling. Unlike Naruto which went from "Wow, that's a top level ninja who can manipulate large amounts of an element without a source at hand" to "we're facing alien world destroyers".

      I would say Nezuko's power makes sense for a few reasons.

      • Muzan gave her a good amount of blood when he converted her to a demon.

      • The series shows that the newer demons have undergone evolution - they have more complex, varied and stronger blood demon arts.

      • (my personal theory) Nezuko never ended up eating any sort of human flesh or blood during the series which can be the reason why she was able to go back to her human form once she burned up in the sun as a demon.

            @AS1253: I have watch the whole series, granted it's been a while but I don't recall ever seeing a scene where it was shown that Muzan converted Nezuko, and that it was only implied (i.e the scent). Not to mention your last point is definitely spoiler.
