Would have recommended this but 90% of my album art is no longer showing up. WiiM support just came back with "We currently don’t support reading images from folders as album art. If a song file doesn’t include embedded artwork, no album art will be displayed." Confusing because all my album art is images in folders and 0% embedded. Used to work, hopefully it will be fixed in the future.
why not just embed it in the files?
Seems logical but every other device I have used handles album art that way and I don't want to change 12,000+ tracks to suit a particular device when chances are it'll be updated again in a few years.
you can probably do them in batch???
i used to use mp3tag… not sure if it can embed images in batch, worth checking…
@jv: Funny you recommended mp3tag, I tried it for the first time just prior to seeing your message. It is awesome! So much easier than MediaMonkey for fixing tag issues - my library was not nearly as free of embedded album art as I thought.
WiiM support have put folder album art on the feature request list - I don't understand why the functionality was lost but hope it will be addressed soon. They have been exceptionally responsive in addressing bugs & features that I have raised previously.
