Is this enough for double garage

Easy to use, rollable formula covers up to 28-37m2 per tin (2 tins included) over smooth or bare concrete.

      Do the maths.

  • yes - 1 tin for one coat upto 37m2 - you would need surface prepared and painted first - if already painted, re-prime and then topcoat as per rustoleum website, you can add chips and anti skid to topcoat

Looks like I'll be skipping the fake tan this year and giving myself a coat of clear gloss shimmer.

  • Explains the pallets out front this morning.

I have a bare concrete garage floor atm, I have concrete sealer that I was going to use as a quick and basic treatment as I don't want to go through the full 2 part epoxy route.

    A couple of questions:
    1. Does this product need the same level of prep? (I.e. more than just sweep, vac, remove loose debris and clean any chemicals off)

    1. Can I / is it a good idea to use the sealer first and then put this on top?

This is the sealer I've got https://www.bunnings.com.au/bastion-15l-matte-concrete-seale…

    Thank you!

    • Thats an acrylic sealer, so its technically a one part floor paint.

Assuming its instructions are anything like the cromellin competitor, you should be able to water it down massively to do a dust seal, then anything above will have less need to soak in.

I ended up doing 50% water across the whole floor with the cromellin; (4L made 8L) Zero dust, zero pickup, smooth as.

      • Thank you for the info - is the idea behind watering the sealer down in order to cover more ground? I was just going to use it straight as it is.

I was also asking if it's a good idea to use both the sealer and this rustoleum top coat on top for extra protection or if it introduces issues later on/not worth it.
