Terms and conditions

This promotion is open to members who have successfully activated the bonus offer within their Cashrewards 'For You' page ("Eligible Entrants"). To qualify for the $5 bonus, Eligible Entrants must shop online using a Cashrewards platform between 16 August 2025 12am AEST and 17 August 2025 11:59pm AEST with a minimum spend of $50 (including GST, but excluding delivery and other fees) on a single eligible purchase and where such purchase is a booking via a travel merchant, utilise that booking on or before 18 June 2026 ("Qualifying Purchase"). A Qualifying Purchase excludes the purchase of ineligible items as set out in the relevant store's special terms or items with a 0% cashback rate at the time of purchase.

Bonus cashback is calculated on the value of the Qualifying Purchase, including GST, but excluding delivery and other fees. If the Qualifying Purchase is tracked in a non-AUD currency, the bonus cashback will be calculated on the converted AUD value of the Qualifying Purchase (including GST, but excluding delivery and other fees) at the time it is approved by the store. The AUD value of a Qualifying Purchase may differ between the time of tracking and the time of approval due to exchange rate fluctuations. Eligible Entrants may track the progress of the bonus at any time on the 'For You' page in the Cashrewards website or app. Bonus will only appear under 'My Rewards', and be paid into the Eligible Entrant's Cashrewards account, after the associated Qualifying Purchase is approved by the store. Cashrewards Terms of Use apply to the use of the Cashrewards platform and any associated purchase. Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account. Additional purchases do not qualify for additional bonuses. Fraudulent or other activity in violation of the Cashrewards Terms of Use will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

    Does CR still send tracking confirmation via email? I made a Woolies order 4 hours ago, that I saw as pending cashback within 30m, but got no no email or app notification + it's the wrong rate as well? The $5 bonus is Pending Approval at least….

      I made an order and both are pending approval, but warning, Cashrewards says 4% CB, but my order wrongly tracked at .15% and didnt even give a tracking email. Take screenshots of everything if you do order.

      Also does anyone know if a missing item on a woolies order will invalidate the CB. See here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16820480/redir - I've got a fraction of the cashback I should receive and items payed for that weren't given, ugghh - I assume getting help will involve refunding me, that will then invalidate the 5$ bonus and CB…

        It reminds me exactly of this past $5/$50 CR deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/865146

        Clicking to the deal showed a banner for a $5 bonus at [I think] "click & collect" retailers, with an image of Myer and 3 other stores. I completely ignored the deal thinking it was only for those stores, using C+C as the pickup method.

        That's exactly what you would infer from the promotions wording…. But it turned out people purchased Amazon GC's and got the bonus. = CR can be very ambiguous, but i'm sure an Amazon GC will work here etc.

    Yes when you click on start shopping they’ve got a list of specific retailers but the terms don’t say must shop from them! Ambiguous for sure!

    I've activated the offer, it shows as activated in the app, but there's no $5 showing up in my transaction list, as it usually does before you purchase. Has everyone else had the $5 show before purchasing?

      The $5 bonus shows up as pending approval on the ‘for you’ offers page in your account, if you have the offer.

          You can also click the link in the email again. It changes from a teal ‘active’ button to a yellow ‘pending approval one’ on the banner.

          Seems they’ve changed the format on this one (it used to auto apply then get confirmed or removed).

    Purchased a $50 Ultimate Everyone Gift Card. It only has the gift card cashback in the main My Rewards bit waiting approval.

    But if I go to: "For You / Your Promotions / Pending Approval" I can see the $5 bonus there with "Pending Approval" tagged on it.

    Bit odd they've done it this way, and not just show everything in the My Rewards section.

      Been like this for a little while now and personally I like it better. Anything I activate but dont follow through with doesn't end up in my rewards section as Declined making me wonder what it was later.

        In that case I think perhaps it would be better to just have it all in the My Rewards section, but split into tabs of "Approved", "Pending", "Active", "Available", "Declined" so then you can easily see everything on one page but still organized into separate bits. Really hate having to jump around an app or webpage looking for related info, feels unorganised to me.
