If it was $3998, I would be willing to buy, but for $3999? No way at that price.

    Nah wait for a $6090 6090

    • 7k minimum be real mate

Unrelated to price, i have had 2 zotac gpus in my time, both failed within 12 months, maybe i was just unlucky, but they are on my blacklist for sure.

I haven't had a zotac card die yet, my most recent is a 3070 and hasn't had a single issue.

In my decades of building and fixing PCs (both professionally and for family and friends) I've found faulty power supplies tend to be the number 1 reason for dead graphics cards.

I purchased a Zotac 4090 Amp Extreme AIRO at launch, the first one failed within 2 weeks when a VRAM chip cooked itself.
The second one (RMA replacement) was faultless however.
Just recently sold the 4090 for what I paid for it at launch and purchased a 5090 for an extra $700

      • Yeah they were both launch ones that failed for me as well but 3080s. Got a msi one instead and havent had an issue.

      Yep me too!

    • Not to shit on the brand, but I bought a Zotac 4090 white edition (whatever the model is), it started crashing my whole PC more and more to the point where it would crash seconds after booting up.

Event viewer error was Nvidia driver related. Tried everything, new RAM, new power cable for the GPU, multiple reformats, hours and hours of troubleshooting, latest Asus BIOS, firmware updates for everything in the PC, nothing fixed it.

Sent it back at the end of last year, got a replacement, and that one has now been crashing in the exact same way for the past 2 months. I just sent it back to Scorptec and asked for a refund if possible.

Would not touch Zotac again, though I understand this is most likely an isolated case.

Have been using a 3080 Ti that a friend gave me temporarily; 0 crashes since swapping to it 3 weeks ago.

My PSU is 1200W Asus, so that's definitely not the issue.

zotac is the same low-tier AIB as inno3d & palit

    • +2

This is true, but it's good to see another brand in this price range.

Plus the aesthetic of this card is far better than Palit/inno IMO.

      Kinda Asus proart vibes.

I think Zotac offer a 5 year warranty when you register their product after purchase?

  • Good find but the AORUS Master was/is the one that impressed me the most at $4k.

Did anyone actually get that deal? Card in hand?

That was a crazy deal, but I feel like it was a pricing error that was pulled.

I didn't see anyone reporting back in the deal thread that they got the card.

  • The Palit is the exact reference deisgn as the Gigabyte Gaming OC literally no difference power phases everything is the same.

  • wait for 5090 to get under 3k, probably next year lol

  • 600w space heater, going to be awesome in the coming summer months.

    GPUs really jumped the shark.

  • Anyone coming here there is a current deal from eBay seller ElecticBay. They have the Palit 5090 for $3800 with discount code. Only 4 available so not enough to par a deal. Good luck!

  • A zotac one caught fire in the bf6 beta weekend 😬
