    review?

I quite like what they're doing. I know it's just a rebadged Inglewood, but I swear the quality is higher. And roast level seems to actually be accurate (light, med, dark).

Particularly like the supernova blend - light roast PNG Brazil blend. It's the kind of espresso I like, still has a strong base of choc and sweetness with a hint of floral/acidic notes.

My partner prefers the supernova which is more of a traditional cafe house blend - darker, choc, caramel notes. Which I also like.

Thanks for the review. When you say "rebadged Inglewood", are they related/same owners?

I found my last couple of Inglewood orders disappointing so might steer clear if they are.

I think so. They got exposed a few weeks back as being the same roaster. Read the comment section:-

Drip Roast Coffee Blends 50% off - 1kg Bag $31 + Shipping (Free Shipping on Coffee Orders over $60) @ Drip Roast Coffee - OzBargain https://share.google/sv3VZ7Uy0qfpSHpEm

Their Instagram account used the exact same coffee setup and studio for promotional photos but with different brands. Then once called out they mysteriously deleted the post.

They claim to be a new startup that uses Inglewood roasters, but seems like it's closer link. They run the same monthly 50% discounts and all.

Either way though, I think the drip brand is trying to differentiate itself and it does seem like higher quality.

I agree, my last two Inglewood orders have been disappointing. Also found Inglewood's delivery not great either. I'm in Melbourne and get no communication when to expect dispatch or when it has been dispatched. Will give these guys a try and see how it goes.

Yeah I’ve been finding that too with Inglewood lately.

I tried them for the first time recently - I got 1kg of supernova and 1kg of decaf. I do a 20g 50/50 cup per day. It's decent stuff, no complaints

      • Bought 2kg to try. Thanks for the review

      • Thanks for the info - My last Inglewood was very disappointing. We still have some that we don't want to use but I'm so reluctant to just throw away.

  • Are any of your beans certified organic?

Bought 2kg to try! Thanks for making free shipping easy to achieve unlike other deals

Damn, that’s a risky amount to try a bean

why cant they ever have a bargain sample tasting pack

I buy ~8kgs a month for the office and these guys drop regularly into the mix, no complaints

They're too scared to complain. They fear you will drop them back down to instant.

  • What's their best blend for a double shot cap?

  • If they are Inglewood then and re-branded then I would stay clear.. The last batch of beans I ordered was seriously putrid and the fact they would sell it to customers knowing this, I wouldn't even take coffee for free from them.
