Any Good Useful Things to Buy at Myer? - I Have a $600 Gift Card

Hi, I have a $600 gift card at Myer. I want to spend on items that are good, useful, or a bargain. I've never shopped at Myer to be honest because it seems expensive.

I was thinking of getting the end grain cutting board, any useful tech items so far

I did move into a new home recently too, maybe any home, appliances, kitchen items or technology or any category to be honest. Let me know any ideas!

Thank you

Myer does price match which may help

Yeah put a big asterisk on that. Recently tried to price match an item to the JB sale price, I think Myer had it for $170 and JB had it for $150, not even a big jump. Got told they had to check with their manager and came back to tell me it was below their cost.

Thats fair i been knocked back at OW , HN, JB, EB etc over the years.
In most cases the right to decline on a variety of conditions like under cost.

In this case op got nothing to lose I guess? Hes locked in with myer whether they like it or not lol

      • Below cost is fair enough reason it to price match.

        • Below cost but like 4 other retailers had the same sale price at the time, somehow I doubt.

    Lego

  • Some Myer had Panasonic Microwaves in white…
    https://www.myer.com.au/p/32l-white-inverter-microwave-oven-… for around $255.20
Bonus points if you are MyerOne and free delivery over $99.

Myer frequently has 50% off cookware. It’s not Kmart pricing or quality; but it’s legit 50% off RRP

Also sheets can be a good buy. Again you aren’t buying the cheapest sheets but you are buying the sheets at a discount to RRP

Just wait for the sales - they are pretty frequent. There is one on at the moment

  • they sell le creuset

  • Bed linen.
    Cookware (when 50% off)
Toys when on sale I.e Lego
Clothing is decent priced when on sale

Know anyone who frequents the cosmetics department? It's one department where many lines are never reduced; minimal risk of buyers regret.

Wait for the sales. Look for exclusions, from memory there are stores within the store so things like Miele and some cosmetics may not be included.

As others have said they do price match and I have got them to price match on things like kitchen appliances.

Another neg with no reason given. If you gave an issue then say why, otherwise the neg just looks vindictive.

      • I negged for complaining about being negged.

        I wasnt the original negator.

Just so you know I'm not being vindictive.

I don’t mind being negged if someone then explains why the comment isn’t acceptable. Especially as I have a phantom negger who has been stalking me. If they have to leave a comment they give away who they are. So you are negging because I asked the original negger to say why? Honestly?

    Tom ford bitter peach

  • Towels, bed linen, cook ware

  • Myer also do BBQs but make sure you price match etc. Generally stock is good.

Sell it on here for 90% and pocket the cash.

  • I would buy quality bedding and towels. You'll never regret a nice set of sheets. I was in Myer on the weekend and they were having a great sale. Sheridan is also 40% off at the moment - I picked up some tea towels, but I highly recommend the Living Textures bath towels.

  • Gift Cards have 3 years life span.

  • Stainless steel cookware or Cast iron eg Le Creuset if you cook .. but $600 will not go far even though they have a 20% off sale now/
