How does the taste compare to the Glenfiddich? Looking to buy a bottle but not sure which to get.

Glemorangie for me - a lovely smooth scotch & not as peaty as the Glenfiddich
Both are considered good "entry level" whiskies but the Glenfiddich is lighter and has a more watery mouth feel. Glenmorangie is thicker and sweeter and, imo, the better value at this price range.
Taste is subjective, and how it compares to another one you like can only be answered by having a drink of this one in your mouth. Having a shot at the nearest bar/pub is probably the easiest solution
