Referrer & referee receive $25-$50 credit after referee's 3rd monthly bill.
The terms states - “ Purchases using any type of discount which lowers price advertised on the Merchant site, including but not limited to employee discounts, student discounts and price-matching”
yeah I paid $199 full price so not sure what happened
So I guess the cashback is calculated based on the original price, not the sale price.
This was posted the other day. Cashback worked fine for me. Used it twice
yeah cashback tracked for me then eventually got declined when was time to receive the money
With cash rewards or someone else? Cash rewards gives an approval date in January.
cash rewards. I bought this deal in June
How quickly after you purchased was it tracked on Cashrewards?
Tracked within 5 minutes, but an estimated approval date of January.
Thanks, Ill keep an eye out. Hopefully soon.
Vodafone v Boost - which is better?
Boost has gone downhill due to congestion issues and Vodafone has supposedly improved, so that isn't as easy to answer as it used to be. Best advice is to get a prepaid Sim and test it for you.
After about 5+ years with boost, I've decided to go with Voda this time
Test a Lebara (Vodafone) and Belong (Telsta/Boost) for a month with cheap starter packs that are on sale in the supermarket all the time.
I've found both of them mostly good except for patches where one or the other are congested but my experience is irrelevant to your area
Just pointing out that belong isn't boost/Telstra coverage. It's Telstra wholesale which is marginally different.
Also, whilst boost is full Telstra, it doesn't get the same priority that Telstra customers do, which is why congestion has become an issue
i got this. just unrelated logged in to shopback dot com dot au and expired $um after 6 years of not logging in due to mistrust of their data breach. hopefully cashback rewards works for this deal.
when do you need to activate by?
Voda. Where are you?
Not anywhere near me, that’s for sure
Looking for a cheaper 365 day prepaid for my kid, any deals cheaper than this as i dont need this much data?
Kogan
Kogan Mobile has a 140GB plan for $150 per year.
https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-mobile-prepaid-voucher-co…
Bought one, cashback tracked in 5 minutes however only at $16.42 not at declared 25%..
I made the purchase last night within 10 minutes of the deal being posted via the Cashrewards app on iOS. So far, I haven’t received any tracking emails, and there’s no confirmation in the app aside from the entry under click history. I’ll wait to see if it tracks properly otherwise, I’ll be declining delivery.
Super weird. There was an initial issue a couple of days ago when this was first posted that the cash amount wasn't accurate. At that time someone else said they got it fixed via cash rewards chat.
I waited on the initial deal for someone to report that it tracked correctly and once it did I took the plunge. Worked fine for me, within 1 min. This was via the android app
Maybe Cashrewards are doing deliberately to decline
Same , no email or tracking after purchased.
Anyone know how long you have to activate? My current plan runs out later this year.
T&C states within 30 days of purchase.
to get cashback, 30 days.
Sim itself, 365 days.
Does anybody know if there’s a current westpac deal as seen with previous Vodafone deals?
Wondering if it’s worth setting up an account for this reason alone
Can I use this deal with an esim or is it only physical sims?
Works with esim, but the process is clunky. You either need to put the physical Sim in and transfer (which failed for me) or go to a Vodafone store to do it
Well that's just so silly. When i signed up to Kogan Mobile (Vodafone reseller) i was given the option to order as either physical SIM or eSIM. I went with eSIM. Why is Vodafone itself so backwards when it comes to that.
Can you use this to recharge? My last 365 day Vodafone is about to expire.
Looks like it's new connections only. I'll try someone else this year :)
T&C says New Customers only, and additional services are ineligible.
You can port out and then back in
Do you need to wait or can you do that in the same day?
The T&C says only eligible for New customers and ineligible for additional services. Does it mean that we can't buy this for the second number?
And if I were the previous Vodafone user, I sign up again, am I a New customer? Fell tricky
Not seeing too many people (or any in fact) have actual successful cashback in the comments for me to take this gamble.
I did it on the 15th and 16th of August for 2 seperate packs and both have tracked correctly. Whether or not I actually get paid out is a different matter
bought the 320 prepaid for $199 and cashback email received within 5 mins for $80 cashback. I dont think this will be the case. but will contact the rep after 90 days to chase up. cheers
Same, got app notification within a few minutes saying $80 pending … lets all pray and hope this is not an error :)
Are you sure it's $80? Just got this and got confirmation about $49.
Mine says $80 but I expect to receive $49 when it is finalised
Mine tracked right away $49 cashback.
Did buy this sim and delayed for 2 weeks
Im in brisbane cbd
I haven't got the sim yet and needed to recharge with boost
Their service totally useless with multiples calls
Highly recommended going with other carriers , spend ur hard money somewhere else
Totally terrible experience
Today's Cashreward rate is 30%. So $199 - $ 59.70 = 139.3 is not bad for 300GB data in 365 Days. I received "Your cashback has been tracked from Vodafone" for AUD 59.70. Hoping cashreward will honour :)
It's said the offer ends on 8 september, if i order today i'm not sure when am i going to get it. When is the latest activation date?
Looks like this deal was my last hurrah with cashrewards. If you haven't already activated, you should probably do so if you're wanting the cashback
I placed my order about a week ago, haven’t received any updates since. When I called Vodafone today, I was informed that due to a system error two days ago, my order had been cancelled. However, I was not notified of this cancellation. I also pointed out that the timeline doesn’t add up, as I placed my order a week ago, not two days ago. Then he changed story he said the system error started like one week ago.
Same happened to me and my Kogan 1 year plan also expired yesterday. So I bought an esim from ezysim for $99. 100GB for 1 year. It was so quick and porting also occured instantly. I also filed a case with PayPal as I don't believe these Vodafone guys will refund quick.
Did you get charged even though your order was canceled?
$199 was deducted from the card I recall it's the same day when I placed the order.
I received an email today, cashback approved, $49.75 on my way. good luck all
Yep. Got mine too. Just waiting for it to land in my account.
Has anyone received their cashback into their BPAY? I'm still waiting from 11/9/25.
my cashback for this was denied previously
