ATL for the DDPAI Z60. A 4K front + 1080P rear dash cam with Wi-Fi 6, built-in GPS, ADAS, night vision, parking mode, and even a free 32GB.

Personally won't get another viofo dashcam again since 2 A129plus died with in 2 years of usage and another 229pro giving multiple sd card issues. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/397667 from this deal is still going strong even after this much years of usage and Viofo is not even lasting 2 years after paying higher price.

Better to buy the Viofo for the same price, much better unit

    • Thank you, would you have the link please?

7 year user and can't provide an active deal.

          Here's a better link: www.google.com

          • @GTR12: The Viofo deals come up quite often, apologies if it came across as lazy. But there are many different units for different pricepoints that depends on the user.

My main point before was IMO it's better to wait for a Viofo unit on sale than this one here. That is pretty standard advice around here.

        • Any links to a time machine?

        • -1

Months old links and the store is banned, well done.

          • @smartazz104: My apologies, I linked the store not the brand. If you were aware of dashcam brands you would realise that Viofo is a top recommended brand on OzBargain at the moment.

Please see the brand link here - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/brand/viofo

Plenty of deals over the last few weeks, including some starting this week for the Winter Sale on AliExpress. Well done.

Which model is the same price?

  • +4

I've had the same issue with my Viofo unit. Very disappointing :(

    • Oh no.

      Did it just stop suddenly?

      • +1

The screen powers on but the video feed is very choppy. It won't write to the SD card anymore. It lasted maybe 3 Aussie summers. RIP.

      • +3

No, the car did. The Viofo went straight through the windscreen

      • +1

My Viofo A118c lasted 4 Sydney summers then is in an endless reboot cycle.

My blackvue has been flawless for over 5 summers now.

  • Big fan of Viofo since my old blackvue and venture camera failed, but I guess they all electronics, nothing is guaranteed over the years. Good things is Viofo is well reputable towards their warranties. Not sure about this ddpai but price seems okish. Not sure how warrenttybgors for this one through.

  • Any other dashcam recommendations?
Preferably around this pricepoint, but wouldn't mind spending more if really needed

Edit: ending up getting this, value is amazing

DDPAI Z60 Pro 2Ch + OBD hardwire kit is an excellent combo and reliable so far. Surpassed expectations so far. Was able to get both for just under $300 before cashback.
Z60 Pro also has the Sony Starvis 2 sensor which is great.
Easy menu, app and UI is okay.
Quality appears to be great, and parking mode via OBD hardware kit also has battery voltage protection which is good

i have Z60 Pro its good

  • +1

I wonder how its sensor is compared to the Sony STARVIS 2?

I also have a VIOFO and occasionally when driving it keep saying “Starter recording…” which I’m not quite comfortable with.

DDPAI = reliable :) they are solid units.. my ones been very good after baking for 3 years in the run.. Super capacitor no battery

  • Bought one thanks op

  • Tempted but I'm looking for something more discreet and I'm not bothered by all of these fancy features

  • +1

I always buy DDAPI and 70Mai products for myself and sons. Good quality and not expensive. I always bought the latest models. So far all going normally after say 3-4 years

  • Is the ADAS any good on these?

    • +1

There is ADAS but basic, never rely on it.
