  • Seems like great value!

  • I've ordered one - cheap enough that if it's garbage I won't care too much, but the sample footage seems decent! Anyone got experience with this one?

    • +1

Got one last time, pretty good quality. Heres s linknto previous much more exxy deal.

      • Cool, seems like I got a good deal then! You still using it now?

        • +2

First one that arrived had a weird noise interference on the picture, was replaced easily, as was postage refund to return it. Light in the box were great to deal with, and the rep is on OZBARGAIN.

Yep, still use it, and since the price dropped again, got another one.

  • Picked one up thanks! Worst case scenario get a nice looking USB 12v socket

  • Thanks OP. Worth a try for the price.

  • Got the WAZA wireless charging pad last time and was of good quality.

  • Thanks OP.

    Any ideas for SD card?

  • +1

  • Yes…it comes without a dongle

  • Missed out :( any recommendations for good cheap dashcams?

    • Bluskysea B1W from amazon about $60. Probably the best dash cam under $100.

    • back in stock

  • How does the wifi work with this?

    • Refer my post above to previous deal, its not thenbest, easier to pull card and view and edit if required

back in stock. Just ordered 2. Thanks op.

    • Back to $56.72 now

      • Still showing $17.28 for me.

        • Oh wow.. i think its because i was logged into my account and i already purchased it. So if it doesn't show $17.28, make sure you're logged out i guess. Thanks for pointing out it is still possible to get the cheap price :-)

        • @kimba88:
No they just made it cheaper again. It had nothing to do with logging out.

        • @videoman: Weird, because it happened twice.. once for me and once for my partners account

  • can this also be used for the rear? I'm not sure how these dashcams work properly. I had someone run up the back of me and drive off.. so i want both front and back monitored

    • +1

this what I am planning to do. it should work for the rear as much as at the front as long as you set it up correctly.

      • can you see if its possible to put it on the rear? i'm not sure how it would plug in there

        • the angle of the camera is adjustable. so I don't see why not possible.
it should come with a long USB cable. for my car, I think it can reach the USB port.

it cost $17, worth trying :)

        • @msmhw: Thanks. I literally just bought a few.. 2 for my car, then for my partner too. Fingers crossed they are good.

  • what sd card is everyone using for this?

  • Got one. Will see how it goes as my first dash cam.

  • Just bought 2 for 34.56. Thanks

  • Said expired this morning but noticed tonight it's not anymore, got one thanks OP!

  • +1

Thanks ordered 5. One for the front, both sides, rear and one facing the passengers…

  • Come back to buy 4 more only to see its back to 56$

  • Yeah, lightning deal over.

    • That would be great!!!

PayPal shows $56.72 y guys sure it shows at $17?

    • I received an email from paypal stating amount 34.56$

    • Mine shows the reduced price.

  • Back to $28.79.

  • I received mine today, having two problems so far.
1- not recognising any of my memory cards. I keep getting memory card error.
2- battery doesn't seem to charge.

will look into it later on and compare it with the other one I got and see if it's faulty or what.

    • Got mine yesterday also. I have no problems with the memory card, did you format the card in the camera or doesn't it detect the card at all? Maybe format the card in a PC first.

Regarding the battery not sure about it charging or not, but it records the last file so am assuming the battery is fine.

Compared the footage to my Viofo A118C and colours are a bit dull compared to it, slightly clearer footage but there's not much between them. Really happy with it so far will be using it as a rear cam but I reckon it is good enough for the front.

I also ordered two but yet to receive the second.

      • it did detected the card but with an error. Now I found why, it only read/accept cards formatted as Fat32. And if you try to format it in the dashcam it will stuck in the formatting screen until running out of battery.

for the quality of the videos/photos, they seem good enough. Also, the wifi function seems handy with the recording. I am not sure if I should use 16gb or 64gb with it. I think I will give the 16gb a go and see how it goes.

me too, still waiting for the second one.

2- battery doesn't seem to charge

Do you mean it doesn't hold charge? Mine turns on only when plugged in and the car is running. Is it supposed to run on battery?

    • Did you end up fixing the error problem you have with the memory card? I just bought some Samsung Evo Plus 64gb memory cards for my dash cams, and i can't seem to get it to work.. even after trying to format it in the computer. I also get the same format screen freeze on the dash cam if i try formatting it in there. Somebody please help?

The dash cam also doesn't hold charge like yours. Did we get a dodgy batch or am i doing something wrong?

      • Yeah, I fixed mine.

1- put your memory card in the computer and make sure you selected FAT32 before you format it (or FAT with Mac). Then the camera should be able to read it. You need to reformat it again in the cam for some reasons.

2-after leaving it for a couple of hours it can hold a charge for a bit of time, maybe for 10-20min. But it meant to work from the cable charger, not from the built-in battery.

        • Thanks for your reply. I tried doing what you suggested and my computer only gave the option of FAT (on desktop windows) not FAT32. I formatted the card, then put it into the dash cam and tried to format it on there as well.. But it's still asking to 'insert memory card' or 'memory card error' :-(

I thought the dash cam was meant to hold charge without it being constantly connected to a power source, so it can monitor if someone hits you when it's in park, etc?

        • @kimba88:

I thought the suggested max was 32GB?

        • @Carydadon: Nah the instruction booklet says up to 64gb

  • got mine and it has some weird flickering and keeps powering off…… it ain't the car as my last dash cam worked. really annoying.

    edit

just plugged it in seems the screen is dodgey but records fine just gotta fix the power off issue. i forgot to charge it when i first got it to fill the internal battery think thats why.

pretty good quality wil edit with a upload (mediafire cause youtube compresses)

  • I got this on another (more expensive) deal. Was anyone bought 2, and using it as front and rear using the supplied cig lighter dual USB powersource?

And what are people using to manage the cords?

  • Does anyone have any information about the 'Wi-Fi' functionality of this camera? Trying to see if there is an app or something to connect to it.

    • yes there is an up. With the wifi and the app, you can change the camera settings…etc

  • I'm still having trouble even using this.. i can't get it to work with a Samsung Evo Plus 64gb micro sd card. Is anybody using the same card in it?

    • I am using the same card. I was facing the same problem as I explained before. I formatted the card to FAT format using a mac and it worked.
I will suggest to use different formats and see what will work with you.

      • Thanks heaps. I'll have to try again. The Dashcam works with a SanDisk card no problems.. So I don't know why it doesn't want to work with this Samsung card.

        • maybe check which format is the SanDisk and apply it to the Samsung one.

          • @msmhw: I am using a Sandisk I had lying around as well. Had to download a formatting software from dashcam australia I think as I use windows 10 64bit and that does not have ability to format Fat32. Also as mentioned key is to reformat in dashcam.
Missed out on this at this price otherwise I would have got 3 more. Its excellent for the price-I got 23.50 AUD delivered, but thinking about the Viofo a129 for other car but online vids dont do this justice.
