First post so apologies if I'm missing anything
I've been watching price drops for 5090 but this seems like a good deal, first drop of many to come I imagine?
Can anyone confirm if this model is ok?

Haha I thought it was just my phone it's not fantastic…
The best value vendor of the days always been like this. Remember the MSY PDF?
yes and the GOAT: https://fluidtek.com.au/
the website finally shutdown and got taken over by someone else lol

Price in the title son…
It's not 0 Cents?
$3950 is the price… so around the same as the other one that was posted. Better brand though.
Like what, a 49 dollar discount?
Venus is very entry level card no better than other brand. I would prefer PNY, and palit more than this one
The palit at least has a vapour chamber whereas this one doesn't
yeah arguably the most entry level compares to giga gaming or asus tuf.
There's a SKU below the gigabyte gaming oc (windforce) and thats still better than the ventus
This website makes me wonder if its real lol
I always walk past the shop when in Carlingford Village, they're legit
arguably the most classic brick and mortar pc shop from the late 80s and 90s.
1 or 2 guys busy fixing stuff and all pc parts scattered around with some CRT monitors on the corner.
I bought 3700x when it came out, went there to pick it up. With all the computer junk around the place i was having doubt that, did i make a mistake buying here, but cpu was brand new packed in box, had no issue.
Finally one from the reputable brands. I should be pulling the trigger now, but that $3999 deal for the Gigabyte flagship card…… which I missed……. makes the whole thing like a joke now
HODL. the end is neigh
Let's not get ahead of ourselves, TSMC nodes aren't getting cheaper, neither is there spare capacity on the fabs and with exports of H series to China allowed again, I doubt gamers are nVidia's priority…
Exactly my sentiment! There’s still plenty of profit here.
Not nearly as much as the AI/ML market which gaming is effectively getting leftovers from
wow who created that site?
Some guy in 2005. Store figured it wasn’t broke so why fix it?
lol, i thought you were joking, but looking at the 'waybackmachine' it appears to be around 2004-2005.
'Dont fix what aint broke'
They are a great shop. Been going here nearly 20 years.
I didn't post a deal because there is only 3 in stock but $3.8k here for Palit gamerock.
Update to my above comment. Looks like the code has been rectified and changed from 5% off to $5 off!
$5 off on a 4k card? SOLD 🤑
Just another update looks like the $200 off code is still working. Try your luck with the SAVB5 code!
Great price but I'm just noticing now it's 3 year warranty, I'd happily spend another $1-200 for peace of mind in an extra year of warranty for a 4k card
The zotac I posted the other day would be for you then. $3999 at PCCG and 5 year warranty when you register it with them.
Wow
Where do they mention the extension to 5 years? I checked their website and it doesn't show an option for it
https://www.zotac.com/au/page/product-warranty-policy
I'm about to buy just want to make sure 😅
@its James: Hmm actually I may have given you bad info. I am reading mixed info. Some people are getting it and some aren't. I will let you know how mine goes.
I believe gigabyte gives total of 4 years with registration too.
@its James: Yep only 3 years for me. Sorry to get you exited. Some people in other regions reporting getting 5 years on their 5080s etc.
You have far more than 3 years under Australian Consumer Law for an electronic part at this pricepoint.
Yeah that is a good point.
I think the priority now is just finding a physical store with a good deal!
first drop of many to come I imagine?
you're dreaming mate lol
to be fair, people said "your dreaming" when the cards where 6999 and we said "they'll drop below msrp" now they are below msrp, and we are still dreamers.
lesson?
Dreaming works.
they're giving them away at this point!
The PRICE of the 5090 should be $3000 (still overpriced) so HODL
looks like the website hasnt had an update since Nvidia released the TNT
