5070 ti for $3.6k bad deal

      • +1

I know that's why I didn't put it in the main deal

        • -5

          5070 for $3k also a bad deal

          • @marshmall0w2: less than 2.5k after cashback

@marshmall0w2: Problem is all 50 series laptops have stupid pricing . The 2 deals listed here are decent in the scheme of stupid Jensen pricing on 50 series laptops.
If compared to 40 series 50 series will always seem like bad value.

Lol i always come to laptop deals just to read this dudes comments.

  • Any 5080 laptop deals, would like a beefier gpu for 3d scanning.

  • I got a thinkpad with i7 OLED screen and 3 year premium support but no dedicated GPU is this a better deal ?

    • depend on whether you need. I have an OLED touch screen that I only use for watching YouTube and movies. And I play games on a desktop PC.

    • Do you play games/edit videos/do AI work or something that needs a dGPU?

  • Yup OLED is a game changer, thanks

The increased cashback are usually only for 1 day, you'll have to catch the next one or find similar upsized cashback on another cashback platform.

  • Based on performance comparisons on YT, there is less than 10% FPS difference between 5060 and 5070 on 1440p since they are both 8gb VRAM cards.

If you're on a budget get the 5060, if you're not then get 5070Ti or 5080 for an actual upgrade.

5070 is in such an awkward spot with both 5050 and 5060 also having 8GB VRAM.

According to netizens the 10% performance improvement is only worth if the price difference is also within 10%. Lenovo is currently intentionally keeping the 5060 ones at higher price than the 5070 one at more than $3000 to trick people to think is a steal and sell out the 5070 ones lmao. They know if 5060 ones are priced properly these won't sell.

The non pro model 5060 + a Lenovo monitor is only $2000 right now: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/920376

10% more fps is not worth extra $870 imo, my recommendation is to not fall for this until 5060 models are priced normally.
