  • Thanks for sharing - will pick this up to purchase some accessories to go along with the recent Weber Q1000n deal just picked up. Bloody accessories are expensive.

Can u use the Timezone gift card for this weekend's double dollars?

    • +1

      Yes, have done this before.

      • Can I do it online, or need to go to the store?

  • How long does it take for the digital gift card to arrive? Been 30 min.

    • I've been waiting for an hour…

      • 2 hours and still havent gotten it yet

        • +1

I ended up calling 1300375346 to get it sorted out.

          • @Slappie: Did you get the code?

            • +2

@Jono05: Yes. They sent another e-mail with the code.

              • +1

@Slappie: My email with the code bounced back and they had to resend it, which bounced back as well. They ended up having to send it manually.

    • Ordered 10:20am, arrived next morning 8am.

  • BCF will be running a 10% off promotion (as credit though) for its Golden Hours today. 10% off GC + 10% off BCF. Not bad.

    No fuel for dad? :(

  • Thanks OP. Got the $500 card.

  • I don't see where I can input the code? Only see a gift card option which doesn't work =(

    • In checkout there's gift card or code in the same box

      • Stupid me clicked on the TCN link instead.

    • Also getting the same issue 🤷‍♂️

      • CLick on the 'go to deal'

        • Yep, made the same mistake as you did. Thanks

  • So this gift card can’t be loaded into your wallet. Has to be redeemed in full or in part at one of the retailers. Was hoping to load it in tcn app or wallet. Oh well, it will still be used.

    • Can you share a bit more? I thought that all TCN cards can be loaded into the TCN app. I hope that it can still be used partially at different retailers (not always the same one)?

      • You can redeem for set amounts at different retailers (online/instore ones only) for $20, $50, $100 etc. Retailers that are in store only can only be redeemed for full amount of card unfortunately. It’s not what i expected. I should have got 5x $100 instead of $500 one.

  • This would be good to stack with the TimeZone double offer at the moment.

  • +1

Purchased gift card and received invoice at 11:45am. Been 4.5 hrs and haven't received the gift card yet. Anyone else still waiting on their gift card from a few hrs ago?

    • +2

ordered around the same time as you. Just emailed support@card.gift and they responded within a couple mins resending the gift card.

    • -2

      Maybe read the posts above…

    • +1

      Have you gotten this yet?

I got the invoice 2pm yesterday, and am still waiting…

Already emailed at 4:40pm yesterday too, but no response to that either yet

      • I emailed the support email last night. I received the gift card this morning.

  • +2

Yeah I rang and verified info a while ago. Still nothing. They said can take 24-48hrs which is pretty terrible for a digital gift card.

    • Same. They sent the invoice 7 hours ago but still no redemption code. 24-48 hrs for a digital code is inexcusable really.

      • Support have resent the card now. They had system issues yesterday.

  • Damn, need to purchase some lower control arms and was hoping this would come through before the SCA Price Beat expires but doesn't look like it. Used Google Pay as well hoping for an easier experience.

  • So the digital card… Does it transfer to Google wallet/apple pay?

    • No

  • The service is pathetic, bought a card yesterday and its still not been sent.

  • Bought a $200 one yesterday, and got a cancellation email this morning!

  • Same as you @blackink, bought yesterday a $200 gift card and just received a cancellation email, wtf?

  • Mine got declined, probs just BS email. Only purchased 200, don't think their generic response is valid here.

  • Time to uppercut myself. I stupidly thought this included JB, and have paid the price.

$100 gift card got processed today with no issues. In hindsight I wish I had gone for $200 and gotten a cancellation instead!

  • Thanks OP

  • Thanks came through straight away

  • I looked at the TCN app and it says I need a "Customer Service Reference" if I want to add a card. Nothing like this came with this card.

Since this can't be added to a wallet and there is no online account facility, do you have to just keep hold of the original email and link until you redeem the card?

You don't even get access to a card number - unless I'm missing something?

Seems a bit risky - its a URL full of gobbledygook numbers.

  • +1

Yeah it’s an unusual (stupid) way to go for a gift card. As you said you need to keep the link until you use all the card amount. Also some with instore use only retailers you have to redeem the full amount of the card.
I just keep the link open on my phone.

    • What do you mean by redeeming the full amount?

For example, if I have a $200 TCN Dad, and I want to use $160 in Rebel in-person, I cannot do that?

  • +1

If you want to use the card in rebel you need to redeem it first for a fixed amount that is offered for rebel. Some stores like nike and adidas, the card can only be used instore so it needs to be redeemed first but with the nike and adidas stores the full value of the card needs to be redeemed, $200 in your case or $500 in mine. Not all instore use retailers are like that. Remember this is only for the digital card not the physical one.
Barbeques Galore, for example, is an instore only retailer but the card can be redeemed for smaller amounts than the card value.

    • +1

So the digital card is severely restricted in redemption. In your case with $500, can’t you redeem $100 as Nike/Adidas gc and use the newly redeemed gc like normal?

If not, then this is an absolutely terrible way to implement gift cards.

  • +1

You said it. It is severely restricted with some retailers. I can redeem say $200 or $300 at rebel then redeem the rest at nike but it’s still an annoying way to go. Would be better if it could be transferred to the tcn app or apple/ android wallet then used like a physical card but that’s too sensible.

    • Thanks Jono for the clarification. I’ll skip this one and try my luck in 8 days for one of the TCN GCs from Woolies.

      • +1

        Got some new information….
I emailed the TCN support team asking about loading the card into the apple wallet. They needed my mobile number, then sent a link to my mobile which loads the card to the tcn app and from there you add the card to the apple wallet. It’s a pity they don’t offer this option straight away although I did have to input my mobile as well as my email when buying the card. They also enailed me the Customer Service Reference Number which lets you load the digital card manually into the tcn app.

        • Thanks for the update Jono. So it can be loaded into Apple wallet; it just needs a little hassle.

Once it is loaded into Apple wallet, it can be used like any debit/credit card? For example for your $500 GC, you can use $300 at Nike with Apple Pay, and then $200 at Adidas with Apple Pay?

          • +1

@UnnecessarySpendings: Yep that’s it. You can spend $98 at a retailer without having $2 left over only for that retailer if you redeemed it for $100 card for that retailer.
