Save 50% 1kg $29 Common Ground Bold Blend + Delivery ($0 with $65 Order) @ Cloudline Collective

31

First of all, a big thank you to everyone who ordered our coffee last week 🙏
As a small new team, that support really means a lot.

We wanted to put together something for OzBargain, so here it is: 50% off our new Common Ground Bold Blend. (till 30th Sep)

➡️ $29 for 1kg (normally $58)
➡️ Free shipping on orders over $65

We’ve priced this at basically cost + shipping, no margin. Just trying to get good coffee into more hands and hear your feedback.

Roasted fresh in small batches in Sydney. Strong, smooth, and made with care.

Would love for you to try it and let us know what you think.

  • Does it come in one big bag? Is it possible to get 2x500g bags??

    • Right now it comes in a 1kg bag. We don’t have 500g option yet, but it’s something we’re looking into as we get more feedback.

  • A reminder to read and follow our title guidelines. In particular, the basic requirements to include the name of the store. You can find the edit button on the submenu located between the deal title and your user name.

    • Thanks for the reminder — we’ll update the title to include our store name.

  • Bit of a sour taste when the free shipping threshold looks to specifically force buyers to buy more than 2x 1kg.

As a newcomer amongst many established (on OzBargain) roasters, could you lower the free shipping threshold to $58 so that buying 2x 1kg bags is eligible? That's about the extent of risk I'm willing to take!

We’ll definitely keep your suggestion in mind as we grow. A large Parcel Post satchel with Australia Post costs $19, so shipping isn’t cheap for us yet.

      • You could always experiment with Sendle

Oh this is the store that's passionate about creating something new in the coffee industry — a community-driven coffee brand.

But when asked what that meant they couldn't explain it. Just seemed like ChatGPT responses.

Also said the 40% off is a genuine launch offer to help people try us out yet here we are 1 week later & it's 50% off so what was genuine about it?

Good share - always wary of 'big lofty promises'.

      • They made it even cheaper, isn't that a good thing?

    • +2

Such a bogus neg. Your first point is worthless. Your second is complaining about even cheaper coffee.

Who is contract roasting for who?
    Infinity Coffee Roasters?

  • Re-reading your post, is this truly priced at cost + shipping, with no margin?

    Shipping costs $10 extra.

So you're making no profit at all, right…

  • $58-80 for 1kg of a blend is crazy work. For reference, I can walk to the IGA up the road and buy a locally blended roast at one of WA's biggest roasters that was roasted in the last week for $40..
