Not quite as affordable as the previous ebay deal, but a decent price still if anyone missed out, or just wants a second spare so you always have a fully charged air duster on hand.

One of my few OzB purchases that actually gets a ton of use around the house.

Hits different when your username is what it is… 😅

        • +6

Haha life is suffering is a more Buddhist philosophy, it's acceptance of life's perilous journey and doing things to be more happy 😀 so being dad is suffering but it's also joyful.

  • +10

I have one, blows like a MF.

    • +1

      Mine does the same

    • +4

Thanks, was curious as to how good this MF really was.

      • He said it blows like one so I guess that's quite a scientific way to put it

  • Thanks

  • +2

Be mindful that you cannot get replacement tips for these - you need to 3D print them or get a new kit

    • +1

Wow really? Surprised there aren’t aftermarket ones on aliexpress

    • +22

i bought this, if anyone needs parts 3d printed dm me.

  • +3

Got one recently and for dusting it's crazy, you'll find dust in places you never knew existed.

    • +1

      Like where?

      • Where the sun don't shine

  • Love using this

  • +1

Stay away, because it’s too addictive :)

  • +2

Thanks OP! I grabbed one and ended up paying $91.94 after applying the $5 Visa discount.

  • Thanks op. Missed on last deal bought on this deal

  • +1

Had the APP20 (first purchase via app) code available so managed to get one for $76! Finally able to replace my ancient (and broken) Opolar so thanks for the post!

    • Even more satisfying to use it at that price!

  • Finally got one! Excited 😃

  • +1

Does this ever go below $70?

idknif I can justify $90non one

    • +2

      Buy once, cry once.

    • +3

Look for corded versions. They become much cheaper without batteries even at full price.

  • Bought.
Now what do I do with it?
    Please give me suggestions
    Thx

    • +1

      Blow.

      • Blow what

        • +5

          Yourself

          • @Yummy: Sounds like mogley could have saved $96.94 :(

            • +1

@mafmouf: If moggy can flex & stretch that far, go for it.

    • +2

I dust areas that are normally a pain or impossible to dust, such as behind/underneath/on top of fridge, bookshelves, TV, any area with cables. I then let it settle and switch on my robot vacuum.

      • +4

Doesn't that just, you know, shuffles said dust to other places?

        • +12

Yes, places where my robot vacuum will get them.

    • +3

side mirror, car handles etc after wash (external)
cup holder, hard to access crevices (internal)
dry plates/bowls etc after wash before putting in cupboard
      filters for vacuums
      filters for dryers
      fans, anything that collects dust
      keyboard/laptop mouse etc
blow up air mattresses, beach balls, inflatable toys etc

  • +6

I wish it had a somewhat user replaceable battery. Seems like such a waste to replace this every ~4 years

    • Yes, would be nice if more of these gadgets uses a replaceable battery.

    • +1

Its 2025, I wonder who will impletement more user replacable batteries first. EU regulation, requires products to have user replaceable batteries by 2027.

    • +1

Agreed, I usually only use my cordless duster on my car and other hard-to-reach areas around the house. I use a corded version all other times when I have easy access to a wall socket.

    • +4

Take it apart, probably just using 18650 internally.

      • +1

Yeah, there is a teardown video
        https://youtu.be/9f_Yurzwf1k?si=A2pZHBJKh9_7Hw_k

But honestly I’d rather not have to fiddle so much with it, and risk breaking something. But a fair trade off I guess for such a pleasant design. I’d really like to see a teardown video for the MF50 though.

  • +1

I bought this a couple months ago at full price and it is tremendous value for money. It blows dust. It blows leaves. It blows all the crumbs out of my keyboard. It saved my marriage.

    • +11

      It saved my marriage

Finally wifey can take a break huh?

  • Would this be too powerful to clean the dust from plastic model aeroplanes? They get very dusty and need regular cleaning, but I’d hate to blow them to bits, and some of the comments suggest this thing might be over the top for what I want it for.

    • It has 3 adjustable levels and interchangeable nozzles so you can start off low and gradually work up to the strength you need.

  • Thanks ive been waiting for a deal for this.

  • Will this be useful to dry a car after a wash?

    • +1

      Short answer: No.

      Long answer: Nope.

    • +1

Yes, but only after it has been dried of first. It’s good to get the water out of hard or impossible to get to places, that later drip down the side of the car ie - door handles, behind mirrors, tailgate handle, grille, headlight protectors etc. Also good for getting the water out of the wheel nut areas etc.

    • +1

Better to use a leaf blower for that use case

    • Prob only worth using it for side mirrors and door nooks to get water out and then towel off

  • I got one of these from the ebay sale. It is awesome i use it to clean out my car, it blows everything either out or to where i can vacuume it out. Highly recommended

  • +3

Man I'm still using an old metrovac datavac lol. No doubt it's more powerful but it's more cumbersome for sure.

    • +2

Same, I also have a Datavac and it's great for dusting my vacuum cleaner and air filter, but it's such a pain to have to drag it out of its storage space and uncoil the power cord, then put it away again.

      • +1

Yep. It's like the old corded vs cordless vac conundrum. It's fantastic but a PITA to use lol. With that being said I've had mine for like 10 years now and it's still going strong. Granted, I probably only use it 5 or so times a year cleaning out PC's/vacuums.

    • +1
  • +1

i'm looking forward to blasting 8 years of dust and schmutz all around my car out of every nook, cranny and impossible to reach places.

  • +1

Surprised it's popular at this price compared to $69

    • I find it a little curious as well, but then again Amazon's after sales leaves AliExpress in the dust, and personally I'm getting more and more reluctant to use AliExpress for bigger purchases. They become such a pain to deal with beyond the 14-day return window.

  • +2

I used mine to inflate an air mattress, at max power it took about 5 seconds. A lot of power for such small units.

  • Thanks OP. I'll begin the permission asking process now.

    • +1

It's easier to ask for forgiveness.

  • how do these compare to the $20 no names you get on temu / ali?

    • +1

I have this & a no-name brand also. The no-name lasted for a good 8-9 months but now the battery dies within 1-2 minutes.
The MF100 is still strong after 6 months, plus has much much better airflow. You can literally feel the recoil on med/max settings lol
Plus the build quality is leaps and bounds over the no-names

    • I've got an Ali X version. Friend has this.
Ali X version has a stealth Max X mode (need to set it to Max..then hold select for 3 seconds). Top speed is less, but Max X mode is comparable, just all about the nozzle diameter.
I use my $24 version (it was a bundle deal) 99% of the time on the lowest setting anyway (cleaning electronics/ getting Webber beads going). If you always run it on max, no doubt the high load would kill the battery prematurely. But I haven't found a need for max yet (spin the Earth backwards perhaps).

But…Im not fussed about the battery as I have a heap of "Dead" Dyson batteries. Which are full of A grade lithium cells. If / when the Ali version starts dieing, I'll just replace the battery.

Summary - Waaaaay better than I expected for the comparable price. Only used for 4 months so far (and not much at that..charged it twice).

    • +1

This video should demonstrate, this one is really good.

Can get cheaper ones for about $30 on banggood

    • +1

      A poor man pays twice.

and a rich man is easily parted with his money

        • +4

          Isn't the saying "fool"?

    • You can but they're not the same.

I've had no-name ones and even decent brand one (Opolar), those don't get anywhere near the pressure and flow this can output.

  • +1

Grabbed the MF50, which is on sale at $50. The MF100 has a larger battery and does 150k RPM vs the 110K RPM of MF50. Seem fairly comparable based on real world reviews. Think it'll do just fine and is less than half the price.

    • I got the same.

    • -1

      which is which speed ?

  • Been thinking about this, but I just don't need it.

    • New here?

      • Nah, just older and wiser lol. Bought too much shit from here that I really didn't need.

  • Could this be used to remove dust from delicate areas such as camera lenses and sensors?

    • Lenses yes

I wouldn't blast the sensor with this, Max power would most likely damage the ibis on the sensor if it has one. Maybe on low setting with abit of distance sure, but it'll probably kick up dust from inside the camera

Get those rocket ship rubber blowers instead, or an actual sensor wiper.

      • It's not a one step process. Light blow, very light dab, very light brush, sensor wipe, etc etc. There's great kits with disposable one time use sensor sized wipes/scrapers all over amazon, ebay etc.

  • Love everything except wish the heads had more thread on them.

  • Will this work when the next Cyclone is imminent?

  • How does it compare to the datavac for that have used both? From what I’ve read still not really close to the corded ones just yet

  • How does it compare to the MF50?
Is it worth pay extra $50 ?

  • +1

is it good for cleaning computer components?

  • placed #1 in this review. very thorough https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_ncYXk1cP4

  • Normally I buy stuff that I kind of sort of already wanted from links here. I feel like I need one of these but hadn't previously thought about one… Thanks bought 3.

  • How long does the battery last on full speed?

    • about 10 mins

  • Bought the MF100 from the deal a few weeks back. I'm very impressed its extremely strong on the higher settings and being cordless I tend to use it at times when I wouldn’t have bothered getting out a corded one. Thanks for the additional usage suggestions above, I will widen my targets.

  • Arrived already. Takes my breath away when I blow it into my face. Impressive.

  • Did not know that I needed one or that such a thing existed…. Ordered….

  • Do any of these come with an interlock attachement?

  • Stacked with HAPPY10 and got it for 86 Aud

  • +1

just got it for $81.94 stacking:

Reposting my assessment from the previous thread vs the commonly recommended Solareye X7AU

*I got a solar just to compare these two, this week.

Okay, yeah, out the box I thought the solareye was about on par, but much noisier, and decently bigger. Until I realised it's default nozzle is twice as large. So it was pushing a lot more air.

The thing is though, swapping nozzles down, the effect doesn't keep up. I don't know if it's because of nozzle design or something something static pressure something fan pitch something, but at the same nozzle size the gap closes a lot. I'd say it's about 20%-30% more powerful in practice at the smaller.

This only narrows for the smallest size duster-tip nozzle. Here the wolfbox actually feels more powerful. For dusting/blasting out electronics, the wolfbox pulls ahead again, and it's much smaller, so you'll get it in far more places.

The wolfbox is significantly smaller, significantly quieter, significantly lighter, has more nozzle styles, and is far more premium feeling, and seems to keep it's own for the short range stuff.

The solar can be stood up like a can, has more accessory cleaning brushes etc, wins on raw power, and obstensibly has ~15% more battery. I also noticed it got warm in the hand, and warmer at the output, so I think it's dissipating heat better, meaning it'd likely run longer and have less long term issues. It actually feels like a cracked out hairdryer in the hand, more than a portable "blower'. But it's still smaller than a can of air.

I'd recommend the wolfbox if you're replacing canned air, the solar if you're wanting a super compact blower instead of the bigger ryobi/etc type shop blowers or are running it more than a minute at a time.

On that basis, I might just keep both. The solar for the garage/workshop, the wolfbox for electronics/dusting around the house.

I can definitely see the Solar wins for car drying / blowing snow / clearing leaves off the balcony, etc. At the larger nozzle size it hammers.*

    • Ahhh man, now I might have to take advantage of Amazon return policy. I want to use it for car & camping uses more than domestic…. Will try out this wolfbox but from your review, solar might suit my needs better. Thanks for posting.
