  • You might want to consider a mesh router at this price.

Mesh routers are for best coverage, this router is for fastest wifi speeds.

      • *Fastest Wi-Fi speeds when sitting devices next to each other

      • You get the fastest wifi speeds when you bring the router next to you

    • If you already an existing Asus router, you can use AiMesh with this,
but you'll probably get the 'lower' of the WiFi speeds, if your existing Asus router is WiFi-6

Kind of overkill spending $900+ for a WiFi 7 router.

    • It's quad band. You'll pay a premium for all of them.
Only tri and quad band utilise 6Ghz, and even then the ACMA put a hold on the use of the upper bands because of existing services.

      • what's the difference in actual use?

What NBN speed are you getting 25gbps?

NBN speed upgrade still doesn't warranty something like this unless you have a local data transfer use case and all receiving devices can actually harness the speed.

I've got a few of these for my investment properties because it's a big house so need big wifi range. Works well. I live opposite side of the road and can pick it up!

  • Unifi gateway ultra + unifi 8 port Poe switch + 3 x u6 pro
    Is a really good setup

  • If I'm on a NBN 1000, will I get any benefit from this?
