Get an iPhone. If you are married to iPhone ecosystem it'll be hard to get out. My wife tried with a motorola edge 50 but even though the hardware was up to par or better than her old iPhone she didn't like the interface and the ads in most apps.

@neoleo did anyone (you might know off) of Australian users who faced this issue tried to use Australian Consumer Law to get a new device or refund?
out of millions of devices a few cases doesn't mean its common, it is probably happening but not at a major scale, my device is a year old and is excellent in every single aspect.
Seems to be cheapest deal with a plan, hoping for some insane JB hi-fi outright deals as there's such minimal difference in this and last gen.
I skipped the last generation and still seems like barely any diff with my phone.
For me, this was the best deal since I have a plan with them already. Google Pixel 10 Pro: $1198 - not a bad price. Especially when paying buy month and getting staff discount on top of that :)
