Really think it's worth it
- stays allot cleaner than Weber Q.
- Smoking works well - but I'm not that into smoking so don't have a great reference to compare to.
Potentially saves the effort of lighting the charcoal briquettes.
I have used this to smoke steak before grilling, works well for short smokes as the hopper is quite small, would need refilling every 45-1hr not a set and forget if you would like to smoke a brisket. Relighting feature is great however if you run out of pellets and forget to refill
try the snake method if you're smoking on the weber, pretty set and forget

The standard one isn't particularly large.
Essentially its an electric smoker, so even one step down from a pellet smoker, buuuut on paper it seems like it'll still deliver great results for the average Joe. Better than people with giant clouds of dirty smoke…
Am eyeing specifically the XL one. What are the differences between that and this aside from the size?

Thanks for the post, has anyone smoked on this? Tried smoking briskets via a kettle bbq and it just needs wayyy to much attention throughout the cook. This looks pretty fool proof.
