      30kWh VoltX Neovolt Battery & 5kW Inverter $5920 Installed

and they offer even bigger upgrades. there was a 50KW one too if you search though the comments.

      ahh found the comment:

      OFFER 1

Single-phase VoltX Neovolt 50kWh system (5 batteries, a 5kW inverter and standard installation in metro areas)
PLUS backup functionality (worth $600, and for 2 circuits).
      $6,700 INCLUDING backup functionality.
      OFFER 2

Single-phase VoltX Neovolt 50kWh system (5 batteries, a 5kW inverter and standard installation in metro areas)
      $6,300

are you able to advise the difference, and sell this deal as well?

      • VoltX got nothing at the moment. Most calls just get hung up too. I got in early but only 20kWh - still it’s enough for us

Thanks for your question! We’re indeed in the process of launching a branch in Egypt, but that is separate from our operations here in Victoria. All deals and services you see on OzBargain are fully managed locally in Victoria.

      Aziz, light!

  • Do business in QLD?

    • Thanks for your question! We currently operate only in Victoria, but we are looking to expand to other states in the near future

      • What a pity. Let me know if the current battery is installed outdoors or in the garage. Will this make a big difference to the battery life?

        • The location of the battery can affect its performance and lifespan. Installing it outdoors is fine as long as it’s in a sheltered, ventilated area, while a garage can offer extra protection from extreme weather. Our electricians will advise on the best location based on your property and system to ensure optimal battery life.

  • How much for 30 to 40kwh?

    • I have 13kw solar panels and 10kw inverter

      • Thanks for sharing your system details! Please email me at [email protected] with your name, phone number and the system you're looking for,
or leave your contact details, and I’ll get in touch to discuss the best battery options for your setup.

  • Does this come with 10kw or 5kw inverter? can you expand tower to 50kwh or run two towers in parallel?

    • Yes, it comes with a 5kw built in inverter but the system cannot be expanded to 50 kWh as a single tower, each tower has a fixed maximum capacity (usually 20 kWh or 30 kWh depending on the model).

However, to increase storage, our electricians would need to ensure your inverter and system configuration can handle multiple towers safely and efficiently to avoid issues in the future.

  • Am i right to assume this is an ac coupled system that runs independant from the Solar inverter.
does it use a clamp to detect when to charge?

    Thanks

    • Yes, this is an AC-coupled system, which means it operates independently from your solar inverter.

Regarding charging, it does use a clamp (CT sensor) to detect the excess solar energy available and manage when to charge the battery efficiently.

  • Is the cheapest in the market after the rebate? Any other competitors?

    • Thanks for your question! After the rebate, this is actually the most affordable option on the market. We also include full installation, certification, and support, so you get the complete package.

    • You can also see chromagen for a similar option

  • I don’t have rooftop solar. If I buy this and get the rebate, can I add solar panels later? While still getting solar panel rebates and without penalty?

    • +1

You aren’t eligible for the rebate unless you already have solar or are installing it at the same time

    • Thanks for your question! We can prepare a solar panel quote for you now, and install the battery alongside or separately, but you have to install the solar or have an existing solar system to be able to get the battery.

      • Thank you for your answer

Does this provide blackout backup to circuits
Does it include fire barrier if required
Does it include bollards or concrete pads if required
Is it set up for a vpp straight away

What will it save a consumer

    • Nice ask

    • Thanks for your questions! Here’s a breakdown:

Yes, the system can provide blackout backup but at an additional cost, same for fire barrier, bollards and concrete shield if needed.

The system can be configured for VPP participation, either immediately or at a later date depending on your preferences.

The savings depend on your energy usage, solar generation, and electricity rates. On average, customers can reduce their grid electricity consumption significantly, often cutting hundreds of dollars per year off their electricity bills.

  • Any deals with a new solar install aswell. I want to scrap and replace my current solar with a battery

    • Thanks for your interest! Yes, we can provide a full quote for a new solar installation along with a battery system.
We can assess your current solar setup, recommend the best replacement panels and inverter, and integrate a new battery so your system is optimised for efficiency and rebates.
If you’d like, we can prepare a comprehensive quote for both the solar replacement and battery upgrade.

Please email me at [email protected] with your name, phone number and the system you're looking for,
or leave your contact details, and I’ll get in touch to discuss the best battery options for your setup

I live in a high rise: there is no rooftop space: could I install one solar panel on the balcony and claim the rebate, the plan being to download and charge the battery during optimum low electricity prices and then sell the electricity back to the market at peak: I'm thinking about "Amber".
This begs the question, does it interface with Amber?

    • Nifty idea

Google Amber supported batteries and you’ll have your answer

Thank you…Googled it and apparently not…

BEWARE of big capacity batteries paired with smallest possible (like this deal) inverters! Not mentioning inverter capacity anywhere (other than in the comments, after being specifically asked) is kind of a d*ck move.

    https://www.solarquotes.com.au/blog/dont-blow-rebate-on-big-…

    • This is a 20KW battery with a 5KW inverter - this isn't extra small, it's quite a good match - 4 hours to charge or discharge at full beans.

      • That is on paper. The charging reality is different, especially if paired with small solar and that solar powering devices/appliances during the day, it will not send much to the battery and charge it to it's full capacity.

And it's not only the charging that's crippled, the discharge will peak at 5kW (will it, as there's no specs to find anywhere?). That might be sufficient for a smaller home/family, but if you’ve somehow managed to store 20kWh during the day (nobody is home all day, no appliances except the fridge were on and the sun was shining), why shouldn’t you be able to run high-demand appliances in the evening and actually use that stored energy? Running your oven, electric water heat pump, washing machine and aircon at the same time off battery is where you're saving on your bill, not by powering the lights.

  • How much for a 30 kW Neovolt battery with 3 Phase connection and around 30meters of cabling, 10 kW Inverter.

  • what do you promise australia?
