Spotify Price Increases 2025 September Edition

Well it's hard to keep up with all these increases happening but it now seems that Spotify is set to increase again in September I just received an email that's timestamped 9:30 p.m as follows

Thank you for being a valued Premium subscriber. Starting on your billing date in September, your subscription price will change from A$13.99/month to A$15.99/month.

We’re increasing the price of Premium Individual so that we can continue to innovate on our product offerings and features, and bring you the best experience.

Thank you for choosing Premium.

      Spotify has pretty good region security when paying.

      I have a "Filipino" account, used VPN and Spotify won't take payment. I even used my friends BDO credit card which is purely from the Philippines and it didn't work.

      To my understanding, someone from the Philippines actually needs to login to your account and pay for you. Lucky I have a friend living there that does it for me and I pay her extra for her help

      The average Aussie can't easily take advantage of overseas rates.

          Yeah, didn't work for me for some reason.

          Even when I linked a BDO card with the Phils PayPal account, payment didn't go through…..

    Is it just me, or has the cost of the 12 month Indian Spotify cards increased from $30 to $60+?
