"What's the matter babe? You haven't touched your Pineapple and Jalapeno SodaStream Mocktail."

      • gives new meaning to the term funky spunk.

    • Yeah it’s awful honestly cannot recommend it at all

    • Does the jalapeno cancel out the pineapples… help?

  • Soda mix is close to Best Before Date - This is not a Use By date. Product remains safe and tasty.

    • yea this is stuff they dredged out from the back of the warehouse

this is normal - when was doing this kind of work you tend to 'forget' about random pallets of shit in the back

for $2 i'm ok with it

      • +1

Same. I'd order if the free shipping $ was lower.

        • i'm thinking if i need $75 worth of mixed berry! every other flavor seems like unwashed anus

i'd be willing to split an order with something in the nw to west syd region

"SodaStream is an Israeli company known for its home carbonation systems. The company was originally founded in the UK, but was acquired by an Israeli company in 1998, and has been based in Israel since then. While SodaStream's administrative headquarters are in Israel, its manufacturing operations have been a point of controversy due to its past location in an Israeli settlement in the West Bank."

    • So your saying the jews are anti muslim just like my white neighbours?

      • -4

        They aren’t anti genocide though.

        • -1

they are owned by pepsico so i mean… its from bad to worse

but like at least the jews understand the need for carbonated hydration

    • yeh i’d be all over this if it wasn’t for the unadulterated zionism, makes me sick

      allergies, i guess

    • -3

It's not really an Israeli company anymore, it's owned by Pepsi. Manufacturing in the West Bank ended in 2015 when it was moved to Israel. They actually tried to get work visas for their Palestinian employees but Netanyahu said no.

(profanity) the Israeli government and Free Palestine, but boycotting SodaStream is going to do absolutely nothing towards achieving that goal.

      • +4

boycotting SodaStream is going to do absolutely nothing

i believe in principles, just like netanyahu. fck sodastream are among mine.

        • -5

On what basis though, because it used to be made on the West Bank under old owners?

I mean it’s going to do nothing because it has nothing to do with Israel’s occupation of Palestine. If you want to boycott every company that manufactures anything in Israel it’s a long list (and I hope you don’t own an iPhone, Apple have a couple of R&D labs there)

          • +1

            @freefall101:

it’s going to do nothing because it has nothing to do with Israel’s occupation

tell y what, just for the sake of keep your own house in order, equating gender dysphoria to grief does nothing to alleviate general confusion around trans issues.

so far as i’m concerned any israeli company who are not trumpeting their objection to apartheid (never mind what’s happening in gaza) can eat sht.

          • +2

@freefall101: Boycotting works. We've seen enough evidence of that over the last two years. And as an aside to that, it's also about principles. People don't want to be supporting unethical companies/people. That's like saying "veganism will never change anything" to people who are vegan because they personally don't want to support the industry. There are many reasons to boycott.

      • +3

Its not going to do anything but if alot of oeople boycott then it m8ght have an effect and if everyone Boycotted the it will destroy them. Every little bit adds up eventually

    Great product, love my Sodastream.

$12 shipping ?? coming from the mars?

    • Logistics pricing is complicated. Retailers try and simplify it but at the end of the day, it’s not a profit centre. Pricing seems “reasonable”.

    • +1

And you need to by at least $75 worth to get it free. Like wtf

BOYCOTT SODASTREAM BECAUSE THEY SUPPORT GENOCIDE

  • Sorry for the Offtopic. But I think it's a good place to ask. I've a SodaStream Duo. I couldn't find a cheaper way to have the Co2 because of the quick Conector system. Does anyone has a solution for this? I looked at Kegland, but didn't find anything for the quick connector. Thank you all!

  • +4

Thanks all for the assist on the title stuff, as this is my first OzB post… umm also sorry, I didn't realise the sody water deal I found was unethical. @_@
