  • On mobile device, force close all apps
  • Use mobile data/network (Not Wi-Fi)

TA's Tracking Tips:

  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave and close any additional browser tabs.
  • For iOS device: Apart from ensuring you’re not using an AdBlock app for Safari, the most important one is to ensure you have ‘Prevent Cross-Site Tracking’ turned off (see here).

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • You must empty your TEMU cart prior to clicking/tapping from TopCashback.
  • Any orders that are made from outside Australia or that are perceived to be made from outside Australia (ie using a VPN) are ineligible for cashback. This is at the sole discretion of TEMU (not TopCashback).
  • Cashback is ineligible on the portion of orders paid with TEMU credit or vouchers.
  • Accepting a TEMU best price adjustment after your order has tracked will affect your reported cashback, and in some cases will reduce it significantly or be declined. Please do so at your own discretion. TopCashback has no control over this process.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.

What else is essential

  • TEMU sale amount and cashback may report a lower amount than expected due to international conversion rates, fees, taxes and other factors determined by TEMU. Please note TopCashback has no control over this process.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must accept and allow all 3rd party cookies on the retailer's page if requested.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the 'get cashback' button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

        not sure if it goes to internal chrome, i just clicked within the app and then it just loaded temu site within the app

      It's usually slightly less as I believe they calculate the cashback on the pre tax amount.

      • Correct, I recently bought a bunch of r36s devices during the 50% cashback promo and they more or less confirmed that the tax is included in the total you pay TEMU even though it's not invoiced. prankster will most likely get back approx $137.45.

        prankster, please don't forget to manually track this and if required- submit a missing cashback with screenshots of your purchase invoice and today's promo. Shopback conveniently doesn't auto-track the big ones for me and they also didn't track the cashback percentage for the day, I had to let them know mine was 50% not 20% and provided evidence. I also like to screen-record my purchases when dealing with large cashbacks

          FWIW shopback has had perfect tracking with Temu for me (via shopback app) but I haven't done $200+ orders

          TCB paid my claim out so also can't complain.

    I have had a very bad experience with Temu + Topcashback. My 3 cashbacks have not even been tracked less forget the approval. And I am struggling with Topcashback who says that there is no time limit for tracking and approval. And also that its upto the merchant to approve it as per their policy.
    My purchase dates were 6th May, 24th June and 6th July 2025. Very disappointed, will prefer to use Shopback.

    • Same happened with me did not track my cashback since 26th July by Topcashback and its useless, but shopback is perfect for me.

      • I tried through the shopback app which opens the Temu website inside the app but never tracks my purchase. Logged a claim, they said to wait for 90 days. It's the same issue there too.

        These sites should stop Temu cashback till issues are fixed.

    • They should fix tracking before offering the cashback. I still have pending claim from 6th May. Makes it tough to trust for getting it for new transactions.

    • Did you raise a claim for non tracked purchases? The one time I had a claim for Temu purchase through TCB they paid out. It took a couple of months but I just lodged the claim and left it and got paid.

      The annoying part was lodging each individual item for the claim but overall can't really complain.

    These temu tracking issues on TCB are annoying. The fact you have to lodge an individual claim for each item is insane. Took me like 20+ minutes of dicking around to lodge the claims last time…

    It's been 3 weeks since I disputed my missed tracking from the previous Temu 40% off.
    No reply, no progress.

    • Expect at least around 3 months for any cashback companies to receive cashback or missing cashback resolved.

      My previous missing Temu cashback last year was resolved by Topcashback no problem.

    People shouldn't have to force close apps, and switch to mobile data, use specific browsers and jump through hoops just to potentially get a Cashback. Other retailers don't have these issues.

      TCB inst the issue here, its Temu.

    • @Pigey For successful tracking, it is recommended to use the TopCashback app, click the 'get cashback' pink button to the merchant website, mobile data (no Wi-Fi) and Chrome browser.

      Various reasons such as some Wi-Fi settings and browsers may block tracking. Other cashback apps may steal the tracking if clicked through previously.

    Buying on PC and their tracking still always misses. The claim form is pretty easy but I reckon they're betting on people forgetting to claim

      • thanks for help, I'm using chrome on windows 11, no plugins, hardwired connection, no vpn, as simple as it can be. My cashbacks are always tracked on the other cashback sites. Either TCB or TEMU need to fix something

        • Have you deleted all browsing data (cookies and site data, site settings) before opening any cashback website? If you also use Shopback in the same browser, Shopback may steal this :P

          Was it big purchase like hundreds $ and/or certain products like electronics? It could be Temu being dodgy not to honour cashback for certain products …

          You said no browser plugin/add-ons, but if you have Adguard app or NextDNS app enabled, that's the problem (I use both in my windows laptop). Or VPN/adblocker in router setting. I can put NextDNS in a router for example.

    Bad experience with Temu and Top cashback. Tried and tested with shopback. Bought from Temu with Top cashback on 26th July and it has not been tracked and top cashback has to reponses to it.

    Do not risk if you really want the cashback. go with Shopback instead. Multiple success with it.
    Track fast and accurate. disbursed cashback on time too.

            @trixieb: My claim has been with the retailer since May with no follow up from Topcashback. How long exactly do they think a reasonable time to wait is??

            • @pointnlarf: Unfortunately cashback sites expect us to wait several months for payment from the retailer. If your order had tracked, estimated payable is 18 weeks which is also a long wait.

              I mentioned here that's it's normal to wait with no follow up from TopCashback. Had the same experience with my claims.

              My longest wait for a claim payment was 7 months with Cashrewards. Temu claims with TopCashback are usually paid sooner than that.

                @trixieb: Refer to my reply. "how long do you expect people to wait?" What in your estimation is reasonable? Who in their right might would think waiting 7 months is reasonable.

                • @pointnlarf: Cashback isn't for everyone as there is a lengthy wait whether it tracks or not. I've only used cashback in the last few years.

                  I would suggest not to bother with cashback if you are not prepared to wait or chase up missing cashback claims.

                    • @pointnlarf: The payment time depends on the retailer. On average, cashback is usually paid in about 3 months.

                      Some are longer e.g. 4-6 months for NBN (Superloop & Exetel). Exetel claims can take about 6 months to be paid.

                      • @trixieb: Tracking is normally a week at most on average… I'm not jumping through customer service hoops… But you are welcome to…

                        • @pointnlarf: As mentioned here, TopCashback does not add the tracking manually for missing cashback claims. After the claim is paid, then you will see the transaction track in your account.

                          You don't have to contact customer service as you have already submitted the claim. Just wait several months to be paid.

    Hi everyone

    Sorry to hear about your tracking issues. Temu appears to have more tracking issues than other merchants at all the cashback sites.

    If you find tracking better at ShopBack, then use ShopBack. There seem to be similar complaints at ShopBack too.

    As @Rochie mentioned, unfortunately each item in a combined order has to be submitted separately for a missing cashback claim. This is also the same with AliExpress.

    Please note the following:

    • For claims, TopCashback does not add the tracking manually. There is no tracking initially. After the claim is paid, then you will see the transaction track in your account.

    • Apart from the initial email you would have received on submitting the claim, there is usually no response or communication while waiting for the claim to be approved.

    • Estimated payable for orders that tracked is about 18 weeks (max). You would expect to be paid in about the same time frame (or sometimes longer) for a claim.

    • You can check on the progress of your claim or add further info here.

    • Any enquiries, please contact TopCashback support in this link. You would expect a reply within 2 business days.

    I'm not a Temu customer and shop at AliExpress. I would recommend AliExpress to avoid the tracking issues at Temu. I posted the offer as some members like Temu and seem fine with tracking.

    I'm not associated with the cashback sites but use TopCashback and ShopBack regularly in the last few years. I've had a few missing cashback claims and they have all been paid.

    Order placed. Took my phone off the wifi and changed my browser from Brave to Chrome to do it.

    Look forward to negging every future TCB post (Temu or otherwise) if this one isn't tracked.

    • @nzcoops Hello again. Temu tracking usually appears tomorrow late afternoon (Perth time).

      Temu seems to have a higher risk of non-tracking at all cashback sites. Negging every future TCB post seems unfair as it would not be reflective of tracking with other retailers.

      Brave is a browser that seems to block tracking and cookies by default and marketed as such.

      If you want to use cashback, for successful tracking, Brave browser is not recommended in the terms at all retailers:

      • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
      • You must accept and allow all 3rd party cookies on the retailer's page if requested.

  • Do people do individual orders or group a heap of crap together in one order?

    • If you don't have to meet the minimum spend requirements, it is better to order items separately, in case of non-tracking.

      The recommendation to use the TopCashback app, mobile data and Chrome is in response to the higher risk of non-tracking with Temu.

      I do the same with other retailers as tracking seems to be more reliable with the TopCashback app, mobile data and Chrome.

  • Bought around mid night on 25th August and still no tracking. This will be the fourth time with Temu and TCB that didn't track. Cancelled the previous orders before it was about to be dispatched when no email the following days. Will have to see in few months if this order's cashback will be honoured after lodging missing cashback claim.

    • Usually tracking for this is under 24 hours for me, wifi or not is not a problem for me. I always use mobile browser, disable any adblocker, nextdns, vpn, also no blocking on trackers or third party cookies. I think you need to change your device settings. I have said about this and inform specific device settings many times in same previous deals.
