It doesn’t need to be electric, manual is perfectly fine. My main priority is getting the absolute best price to quality ratio.
What do people here rate as the go to option?

In the case of a 207, a French guy who installs the gearbox while smoking a cigarette and eyeing off the baguette he's going to eat over his 1.5 hour lunch break.
But it has personality!
and has the best revolutions!
Had ours for years. Had an issue with it and it was replaced under warranty.
We have Peugeot mills and I'm a bit disappointed in the amount of pepper that it gives per rotation of the handle. It's also hard to fill and the locking screw at the top loosens while you use it which (I think) alters the grind size
The ones I'd really like that I see well regarded are the Cole and Mason Derwent mills but darn are they pricey
Peugeot, and still made in France.
IKEA ihardig with ceramic grinder. I’ve probably had them for 6 years and still work well. Currently on special for $4 each

These just keep working !
Bought a pair of OXO, probably over priced for what they are: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08DL86ZCQ
Think they were $22 each when on sale.
Pair it with this refillable ceramic salt grinder

Peugeot pepper mill, you will not regret it.
I would choose one that grinds from the top, so as to not leave a mess every time you place it down.

Had mine for nearly 10 years and love it!
